Major Exercises

There are lots of exercises that can be practiced by the badminton players to strengthen the bones and muscles. Here are some described below:

Footwork exercises-

As we know that badminton is a game that requires a lot of endurance and for that we need to work out and the main focus should be on the footwork of the player. As the player has to run across the court so he/she has to increase his/her speed and strengthen his/her leg muscles such as calves and glutes.

Jogging –

A player must do jogging at least 3 days a week for half an hour. It increases stamina and keeps the body relaxed.

 

Skipping-
