Being A Worship Leader - How Long Should You Lead For?

God even provides for people who deny His existence and who refuse to love and trust Him. Jesus said, that God "makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust" (Matthew 5:45). So whether we realize it or not, we all are indebted to God for everything which we have.





The stars shine with a brightness that makes them visible from millions of miles away. The same needs to be true of our spiritual life. We should shine with the light of Jesus. We should show others that the love of Jesus dispels spiritual darkness.

Witnessing the physical decline of my grandparents provided a rare window into how faith impacts and influences the final years and days of life. I heard my granddad beg God to let him die so he could come home. Years later, my granddad's pleadings echo in my mind . . . what a powerful understanding of the yearning to go home. As I get older, I appreciate more and more that longing to go home myself. I understand the common faith I share with my granddad. My spiritual faith grew in the environment of a sandwiched family.

There are literally countless ways of accomplishing the goal of losing weight, but you must understand that the popular ways are not always the healthiest, and could cause serious harm and defects to your health over a period of time.

Just like Billy Graham's faith was sustained by fellowship with God and with other believers, our faith is strengthened when we gather with fellow believers, especially at weekly worship services or in group Bible study. Those who do not go to church for reasons other than health or work schedules-reasons such as not liking the minister or the Order of Service or the music-may find it harder to have faith in Christ. They need to look at what they miss by not attending church, just like we also have to look at what Thomas missed by not being with the other disciples when Jesus appeared to them for the first time after his resurrection.

When a woman gets popular with her boyfriend's folks, friends, and colleagues the man heaves a sigh of relief. Accept his folks as your own and be nice, gentle and accommodating towards his close pals. This is one attribute every man wants in his woman but only a few are lucky.

We may not be aware that what we see on the television/cinemas, read on the newspapers/magazines, see on the billboards and internet, create a mindset -- that smoking is alright. Media tells us to buy something. And if dat ma su to want to quit buying it, we have to pay for something else again. It's a good thing that some television/radio stations are now helping in the campaign for awareness on the effects of smoking.
