How to Package Samples

1. Make sure you have ordered the samples you need for whatever event you are hosting.

  • For a basic skin care session, I would include:
    • TimeWise 3D (or repair) skin care set
    • Microdermabrasion/charcoal mask
      • Either choose between the two, or include both - I like to include both and I'll tell them about whichever they didn't use during the session so they can try it later!
    • Any other samples you want to give out! The more, the better in my opinion!

2. Print out this cute printable to include with your TimeWise 3D sample, or this one to include with your TimeWise Repair sample

  • Make sure to put your info in the bottom right corner. In order to do so:
    • Click on the link above
    • Click "print" on the top right
    • When it opens in a new window, you can then click on the bottom right where it says "consultant name" and you can change it to have your information
    • Feel free to save this document so you can print it again later

3. Insert samples inside of clear envelope with printable wrapped around them.

  • I like to put my samples in a clear envelope because it makes it look cuter! I feel like presentation is a huge part of making sure your guests will attend the event, and it gets them excited!

4. Put clear envelope into regular envelope. The clear envelope linked here fits inside a regular envelope perfectly!

  • Important Note: I use bright pink ones (which you can find here!) so it sticks out from regular mail. I also do not send samples in just the clear envelope because there have been a few times where the recipient had to pay postage to receive it because it was considered to be a small package rather than a letter. Putting it into a regular envelope ensures that you can use normal postage on it and save a bunch on postage fees.

5. I like to include a few extra samples (lip gloss, microderm, charcoal mask, moisture mask, etc.) to make it more exciting and so they can try extra products. I also include my business story card and my regular business card. Adding these extras makes it weigh about 1.3 oz, which means you need 2 forever stamps (each forever stamp covers one ounce worth of weight).

  • Another great option is to use a butterfly stamp! Butterfly stamps is nonmachinable which means your letter will not be pushed through machines and won't squeeze the samples.

6. Write the time/date/zoom info on the back of the pink envelope to remind them when the event is - and so they can clearly see that information when the envelope arrives! It helps get them excited and acts as a logistical reminder.
