Configuration
Install SMS Marketing app from Odoo Apps
Now you can send bulk SMSs to users, You just have to type the message and send it. Apart from this, you can also check the analysis of SMS campaigns. You can also measure analytics of SMS campaigns like how many SMS are Opened, Received, Click, Lead Generated, Quotation, and revenue generated.
Once you click on Create Button, You can create a new SMS marketing. Fill all the required fields like Subject, Recipient, Select Mailing list, SMS content, Setting, etc
Once you select a recipient, You can add some filters for the records as per requirements. You can set SMS content under the SMS Content Tab.
You can click on the Information icon to check different prices to send SMS to another country and it will open up within the app purchase screen of Odoo.
From the SMS content Tab whatever the link in the content, Odoo automatically creates link trackers. You can Enable/Disable opt-out link, Once you enable opt-out link then your contact can unsubscribe from the list and this contact will no longer be available in the list.
You can see records of sent links from Link Tracker.
Go to SMS Marketing → Configuration → Click on the Link Tracker button to see the history of sent links through the SMS Marketing Module.
Once You create an SMS Marketing Campaign, You can select options when your campaign will be delivered.
Put In Queue: The mailing list will be generated but it will send automatically once the next scheduler runs.
Send Now: You can quickly send the message. This kind of option is used at the same time and there are not many recipients.
Schedule: By this, you can set Day and time to send SMS
Test: You can send SMS for the Testing of the campaign
Once you click on the Put In Queue button, You can check the analytics of the SMS Campaign like how many people Received, Opened, Clicked, Bounced, Quotations, invoices, and Revenue generated from the Campaign.
Visualize Reports For SMS Marketing
You can do an analysis of SMS Campaigns and visualize reports from SMS Marketing App.
Go to SMS Marketing App → Click on Reporting to analyze reports of the SMS mailing with the facility of filters to get an in-depth analysis.
Create Contact List
The Odoo SMS Marketing module allows you to create & import SMS contacts to send bulk messages. Once you have created contacts in the SMS Marketing module, You send messages to a single contact, multiple contacts, or Send bulk messages in one click which is a time-saving method to send in one click rather than sending them manually one by one.
Go to SMS Marketing Module → Contacts List → Click on the Create button.
You can fill in the details of required fields like Name of the Mailing List and tick the checkbox of Public and click on create button.
Create Blacklist
Blacklists are a list of phone numbers for which no marketing message should reach the number while sending a broadcast message. You can create multiple blacklists for a specific need. I.e You can create a blacklist to exclude end users who have opted out of marketing messages or you can create people whom you want to exclude from the campaign.
Go to SMS Marketing Module → Configuration → Blacklist and click on the Create button.
