Social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Instant Messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Flashat and Snapchat are very few apps that are popular to everybody not only to old generations and for business purposes but also to young ones as the technology is becoming free for all. Many younger generations are now having mobile phones for the purpose of security, entertainment and communication.
If you are a student and you are always bringing your mobile phones in classes, you might hear from your teacher or professor to keep your phones inside your bags or even to the point that they will confiscate and return them after the class to refrain the students from distractions. You might see some rules posted on the wall that say “NO MOBILE PHONES ALLOWED”.
As the time progresses, the view on using mobile phones in the classroom has changed. There are now apps that help students in learning and accessing different data that will pursue them into seeking more knowledge inside and outside of the classroom. Well in fact, there are some professors and teachers that are now using digital methods in learning, to provide the easiest way of covering up a large amount of school matters with just a click away. It also helps students to be more social to other people, especially enriching interpersonal communication with co-students and teachers.
There will still be a fact that these can cause disturbance when students are in so much use of utilizing their mobile phones in entertainment and social media. When a chat pops up or a new update on the game is available, many youngsters are distracted from studies, attempting to have a quick look on their mobile phones rather than focusing on what the teacher is discussing. There are Pro’s and Con’s of this statement. So what can you say?
