GAMEBOY GAMEGIRL - Yaduki Gekioko

Those summer days spent playing games are marking the end
I wonder if tomorrow will have the same clear weather
I guess it's time to say "goodbye" to you, isn't it
We've had some adventures these summer days
In the games we've played

We were playing games together, you and I
Like time could go on forever without end
We're having so much fun this time
Without knowing when the end will come

I still don't want to say "goodbye"
It makes me think I will forget you and this day
If we must part ways, I could try saying "see you again tomorrow"
Because I don't ever want to forget you

I still don't want to say "goodbye" yet
I wonder if I'll forget you and this day
If we must part ways, I could try saying "see you again tomorrow"
Because I don't ever want to forget you
I don't want to forget you
…but it's time to say "Goodbye."

"Piko piko" is a mimetic word describing the sounds a video game makes.
Onomatopoeia like this are very common in Japanese even in adult speech, while in English they are more cartoony and childish.
This makes translating some things very difficult since we don't really have good equivalents in English for much of them.
I've decided to just rephrase things in a way that still indicates the act of playing games but without making it an otomatopoeia.
Additional trivia: Apparently there is a Japanese toy called the "Piko Piko Hammer" which was the basis for Amy's weapon in the Sonic games. This item could also be obtained in Project Diva 2nd as an accessory.
