A person who likes to garden would rather keep their plants healthy by following the right ways to grow them and keeping the area clean than try to fix them after they get sick or get eaten by bugs. Most commercial farmers and gardeners use a lot of chemical pesticides to protect their plants, which is a shame. Everyone can't just stop using chemicals at once, because switching to organic farming is a slow process. If you already garden organically, please don't read this blog.

Just like a healthy person rarely needs medicine and can get over small illnesses without them, most healthy plants do well in home gardens without much pesticide use. But in serious cases, they are a must. If you have a choice, you should choose an insecticide that is less harmful to mammals over one that is more harmful.

When you spray a toxic pesticide, insecticide, fungicide, or other chemical on plants, you should be careful about the following:

1.Chemicals should be used on a day when the wind is not very strong. If it rains, it might get washed away too quickly.

  1. A chemical should only be used the way it says to on the label. Less might not be helpful, and more might hurt the plants.

3.The person who sprays the pesticides should wear safety gloves, a mask, goggles, and a garden apron, and they should stand in the direction of the wind so that the spray doesn't hit them in the face.

  1. Hands must be carefully washed with soap after use. It is better to keep a container for mixing chemicals that is not used for anything else.
  2. Take care when you store things. The chemical should have a label and not be kept where small children can get to it. It should be clear that it is dangerous.
  3. It is suggested that vegetables not be eaten for three weeks after being sprayed. Even if the pesticide isn't dangerous, it would be best to wait at least three days before eating.
  4. Chemicals should be used in the morning or late evening. If they are used when it is hot, they could hurt the leaves. When the chemical is being used, it shouldn't be breathed in.
  5. Wash the bottle and the sprayer with clean water right after you use them and also before you use them. In some situations, it can be very dangerous to mix different pesticides.

Instead of spraying, you can dust on a lot of chemicals instead. Nematicides, which are used to get rid of nematodes, can even be put in the soil before planting. The best way to spray these medicines is with a good backpack sprayer.

Before turning to chemicals, farmers should try to keep pests and diseases at bay through preventative measures, social control, and mechanical control. As much as possible, gardeners should use natural remedies from around the house to get rid of pests. A grower shouldn't rely only on chemical products; instead, they should use integrated farming methods and slowly switch to organic gardening methods.
