I worked for many years in the bank's treasury departments. I was responsible for managing cash and liquidity, monitoring cash positions, worked on MM, FI, FX, and Equity desks. For the last two years of my financial career, I was teaching retail investors equity valuation, portfolio management, and risk management.
Soon I decided to quit the financial industry, but I wanted to apply my knowledge and help investors on their stock investment journey. I saw how people with no or little financial knowledge struggle to find great stocks and do financial calculations to build a well-diversified portfolio and calculate the stock's fair value. So I decided to create simple and fast solutions for investors.
I started learning to program, I had no programming experience before but I decided to give it a try. I took several ios development courses and after a couple of months, I made several iOS applications then I took a web development course and also made a web-based application and a website, a portal for stock investors where they can find everything they need to analyze, learn and invest in stocks.
Today I want to share my web-based app development story. One year ago, when I started developing the web-based app, Diversset, I decided to create a Quora space devoted to my project, and I shared all the challenges I faced while building the app, ideas, and the development stages Diversset passed through. I hope you will like the space devoted to my project.
