You have food for breakfast, lunch and dinner apart from food for special occasions. It's beneficial to your health if you can fix a particular kind of food item for your food for different times of day, it will let you live with energy and fitness. Fibre helps you keep your weight in control and protects you against diabetes, cancer, and cardiac issues.

Your bones get softer and weaker with age, so you require calcium. You can get lots of calcium from dairy with low fat and dark green vegetables. Argula, broccoli, and spinach are high in fibre. They help your muscles function better and boost your heart function. 

Seafood 

 

You need protein from various sources to compensate for the loss in muscle mass. You need protein for maintaining the vital functions of your body. If you are above fifty, you need to eat fish like salmon, tuna, trout, cod, and other lean meat. This is to regain muscle. You may depend on lean meat like chicken or poultry meat, nuts, seeds, and products of soy. Older adults need more protein than what is required by the young generation.
