I would like to edit the default service request form. I have been searching forums for this answers but it always seems to deal with classes. Currently the default service request has 2 manual activities. I would like to delete on of the manual activities so that it only contains one. Is there somewhere in the authoring tool that I need to make this change or does anyone have a better way to do it? I know that it is in a sealed management which is why it is not letting me edit it.

This isn't an authoring tool thing. The default service request is a template (on the library tab of the console).

you'll probably want to create a template for each type of service request you offer to clients, i.e. a "new computer" service request that has an approval step for the user's manager and a delivery step from the desktop group.

I understand that it is a template, but it is the default being used. How can I change it OR make another template the default form?

Open the Service Manager console. Select the Library Workspace, then select Templates. This will give you a list of all the templates in SCSM.

Find custom dissertation services named Default Service Request. This is the template being used when you create a new Service Request, that you are referring to.

Open that template, go to the Activities tab on the form, and you can modify the activities, or remove them completely.

Because The Default Service Request is in a sealed management pack (Service Manager Service Request Library) it does not allow you to make changes to the template.
