SUPREMELY RIDICULOUS Ultra-Uncomfortable (But Fancy-Looking) Office Chair! =))  Rename it the 'UU100'? = 'Ultra-Uncomfortable $100' chair? LOL  Or the 'HK-8DAW' = 'Horifically Krap - 8 Different Adjustable Ways!' =D  Got FREE off the street from Craigslist "Curb Trea$ure" ad, & $old 4 $50 $oon After.  2 me it's like a comedy of errors, like some hopelessly inefficient robot invention U might C in a 'Wallace & Gromit' animation that's supposed 2 make breakfast but brings chaos instead.  What a piece of $hit... but that's just my opinion.  In my opinion fish like water 2 ~ but what do I know? =8^D

Like the computer market, I think it's pretty obvious manufacturers collude 2 inject severe problems into their designs so people end up having to change later, only to get a different combination of problems in each subsequent de$ign. It's a $cam, like audio preamps without tone controls = U no', 'kuz instead of twiddling a few knobs 2 get the $ound U like U should in$tead B 'forced' 2 eternally keep buying a different combination of non-adjustable things 2 $pend lots more $$$.  Medical Indu$try is another example...  Sure it LOOKS functional & comfortable but...

The adjustable arm rests have a 'special' cupped 'U' shape 2 purposely dig into your arms for discomfort if place @ N E angle other than straight forward = another 'planned obsolescence' anti-feature 2 keep cu$tomer$ (victims) eternally switching after they notice how absolute krap it is. U know, after they already paid 4 shipping & stuff via Amazon or whatever where $hit like this is $old...

Loox 'nice' yes? But this chair is EVIL!! =:-o  It's purposely designed 2 suk azz... like that absurdly overly arched back, like sitting against a ball.  I had to remove it and stand on the mesh pulling it digging in with my heel & all my weight on the high spots to try & create a semi-passable rear surface to sit against.  In 'stock' form the back is so deep U can't even sit back properly & the base feels super short (4 a tall person) like U R sitting on the edge of a toy.  Notice also the wheels R so 'sharp' it's not really suitable 4 carpet as digs in 2 much.  No no... can't make them flat like 'utility' wheel designs that actually work = what a sick joke.  Everything about it is designed 2 cause problems.

It's E Z 2 imagine the 'marketing' $taff with the 'eingineer$' sitting around in meetings with a design & sharing different ways 2 inject PROBLEMS into the $tuff, same way $oftware companies figure out ways 2 put bugs in things 2 fuk $tuff up 2 keep people ETERNALLY buying the 'Latest Greatest' fail train (trading 'up' to a different set of DEFECTS =))  Oh, that reminds me ~ I should do a blurb on O$ $cam$ HAHA  Maybe start with Android, like the 'timer' that requires about 10 steps 2 enter a 3 digit number LOL!!!  "Woo I'm swiping like a pretty slot machine wheel.  I feel so 'entertained' like a gerbil running in circles."  Where is a KEY PAD so I can just type the # in?  & all those bulL$hit jellybean 'gradients' that only make stuff harder 2 read = jeez... give me a break!  If they don't already have courses on this, maybe I should write some. I'm an expert @ noticing absurd design decisions. Key would B 2 give it a fancy 'Adademic' name like: "Designing For Upgrade Cycling" HAHAHA  Imagine a 'Designing For Commerce Institute' where 'In$tructor$' give speaking tours helping builders figure out creative ways 2 fuk everything up LOL!!  HAY Werx a TREET in 'Politic$' yea? HAHAHA

Since the base has a fancy independent tilt in relation to the back, how (UN)surprising the range is near useless = can tilt WAAAY forward if U want 2 'eject' yourself out of the chair (literally, 'kuz the spring is so overly tight = the fail-train continues 2 infinity), but not nearly far enough back to even approach 'average car seat' back-tilt on the base 2 avoid getting a wedgie (the main inherent flaw of any chair design with a flat bottom & angled back).  I had to remove the wheely thing & place a bunch of washers & spacers under the base there to reach a usable tilt angle.  This in turn put the arm rests @ a crazy backward angle so had 2 mod the attachment for those bits 2!  & the joke keeps giving ~ with the base at a decent angle the height range adjustment won't reach low enough for the feet of a parson of average height to reach the floor, but left dangling instead. I removed the spacers & stuff & replaced with original parts 4 $ale.  Oh yes, & that wonderful 'modern ergonomic cool mesh back' = "Uncomfortable In All Positions" !!  =))

Yea' seems OK @ 1'st, then after about 30 minutes U R like "WTF is this $hit?  What a FAIL TRAIN!"... guess that's long enough 2 pass even in retail shops?  Mine was just like this but with an additional 'Lumbar Support' pad thing - more like "Lumbar Pain Amplifier' as it is in the wrong spot, so I removed it.  I also noticed when dismantling bits for modification the base isn't even properly welded together.  They have 'wings' for structural support but instead those R left hanging, so it will eventually bend & fail, necessitating the cu$tomer (victim) buy another chair, etc.  I can guess Y it was given away free = ruining the owner's back??  I think there should B some kind of law against absurd back shapes on chairs.  A lot of people have 'back issues' & it costs bazillions on 'health care claim$'.  A lot of it is probably directly caused by the furniture they R using, like big fluffy couches with overly long bases & no back support (so the lumbar goes 2 hell).  This thing was the reverse = all lumbar & no other support LOL

Below I include the text of the ad I posted. It sold for $50 within hours.  I never claim it's comfortable.  That's a 'matter of taste'. The buyer(s) even both sat in it & thought it was GR8 = hey whatever floats yer' boat =)  I even offered them a full refund if they brought it back within a couple weeks.  They're all "OH we'll know by today" LOL  Of course it wouldn't have $old if I gave MY 'personal opinions' on it like "This thing is the most absurd pile of junk I've ever sat in.  Everything is purposely designed 2 B as krap as possible while appearing 2 B the opposite" HAHAHA  I guess most people R so used 2 $hit they eat it like flies, happy 2 own 'junk' of inferior design as they R 'used 2 it'???  Or bars ~ I don't drink & the $hit tastes like what it is 2 me = POISON!  Of course, lots of people clearly enjoy pouring poison down their throats, so whatever.  Or smoking ~ I used 2 smoke but I stopped because it was making me look worse.  It's not rocket science ~;^D  Check out this other page when U R done here maybe 2 C a GR8 example of a similar situation in Audio = overpriced krap & ways around it:  https://justpaste.it/5l193

My current favorite chair is a 'Frankenstein' combination of parts from 4 different chairs, keeping the (relatively) good parts from each & combining them (with modifications) 2 form something I consider 'usable' without paying $600 or whatever for a 'real' office chair that is genuinely comfortable & ergonomic 2 begin with.  Or do GR8 office chairs even exist @ N E price???  I've never found N E @ a 'box store' nor have I tried 'Elite Boutique' office shops. I'm assuming that's 'A Thing'?  =D

Craigslist Ad Blahs:

'Realspace MFTC 200 Multifunction Ergonomic Super Task Office Chair' = $50

"$ave $50 below the discount '$ale' price on this 'minty fresh condition' chair which usually goes for $100-130 at office stores ('MSRP' $180). I am not certain it is the same exact chair as I don't pay attention to model names so much, but it looks almost identical to the 'Realspace MFTC 200 Multifunction Ergonomic Super Task Office Chair' in the 'stock photos' I am using in this ad. The only differences I notice on mine is the arm support height adjustment button thingy is round & silver color instead of black, and mine has an additional springy oval shaped 'lumbar support pad' behind the mesh. I guess the 'OEM' (Original Equipment Manufacturer) makes it for a variety of retail channels under a various different brand names. You may want to google search this yourself to check prices and pictures =)

It has a cool mesh back with lumbar support thingy, and under the seat it has independent adjustments for seat height, arm rest height, seat bottom tilt and rear back rest tilt which can then be locked together in desired 'ratio' and tilted as a single unit via another control, and there is a rotating 'spring stiffness' control for the tilt action. Also has 'easy get up' type feature where can tilt very far forward which I guess is helpful for those with 'weight issues' or something? On the back side of the back rest you can also adjust the height of the back rest. In total there are about 8 different things you can adjust. Most 'Office Chairs' just have 2 (height, & tilt stiffness).

It's in great condition & I got this chair for use at my computer desk but found that with my arrangement since there is not much space behind I ended up bumping into things, so now I use a smaller 'regular' chair instead. Keep this in mind if you don't have much space behind where you plan to sit. This is a 'big' chair, but not quite 'living room furniture' territory HAHA Your 'mileage' may vary =) It's all in very good 'like new' condition. E-Mail me for appointment to see it, any day (1 day ahead of time), after 3PM please."
