RNA Simult...

This morning I found a discarded
plastic spring lanyard of an unusual design.
I puzzled over it for about 5 minutes,
then decided that it could be
a glasses clip.
Entering the Library,
I selected several random books,
one titled: Operators and Promotors,
a 2001 Molecular Biology text
about genes, DNA, Activator binding sites, and RNA ribosomes.
I opened it at random,
and the page diagram about
RNA transcription looked strangely
like the clear plastic clip.
A second general idea supposed that the Transcription Activator altered the structure of the DNA, perhaps generating local supercoiling, so that RNA Polymerase could interact
productively with the promoter site.

A fourth idea posite (Excess d that
activator proteins do not
bind and act in a linear array;
DNA-bound proteins associate
to form a reactive multi-protein
structure at the promoter,
looping or winding the DNA
in between. (p. 163)
