Aviation Division 5:

A division under the Abyssal command of the OSAC-N sector which is under the command of the Abyssal Northern high command, the 5th Aviation division as it is more commonly known was the Abyssal answer to how they would bring in air power to the fight in the cold freezing conditions of the north. In the Ark Circle carriers were too big to maneuver and even light carriers would have difficulty maneuvering without crashing into the ice sheets and suffering damage. As such, the division was dispatched to the region to secure the skies.

This was because of the fact that unlike other cruiser divisions, the 5th Aviation division primarily consisted of aviation cruisers along with the standard submarine detachment for northern divisions. The division is led by the Aviation Cruiser Prince and it's deputy is the Aviation Cruiser Princess, while the remaining are standard Abyssal Aviation cruisers all carrying Abyssal Seaplane bombers, although the prince and princess carry the remodeled variant.

Appearing in the sector a decade ago, it has been a thorn in the admiralty's side as the Division continues to harass the naval base in the sector with anything from operations to decrease morale via flying over low to direct attacks with some even being full scale assaults with nearly everything the Abyssal force had in order to bomb the harbor out of operational service. Of course none have work or achieved their complete goals but most have in fact dealt heavy damage to supplies and installations before. The division of course has been engaged in a few direct combat battles with the naval base's resident fleet. None made it back with even moderate damage, some never came back.

Of course, after a decade the tides have changed. Now, the division remains a thorn in their side but they've gone MIA, inactive almost. No more air raids, although it appears they are planning for something huge...something...tide changing.
