Startup of delivery of computer technicians receives millionaire contribution

Computer technicians by using an application received an investment of R $ 5 million this week. The investment is led by the Brazilian venture capital fund Domo Invest and will be used to expand the business of the company, which already has on its platform more than 10,000 registered technicians operating in 800 cities in the country.

Founded in 2015 by Fábio Freire, Tiago Lira, and Gustavo Ferreira, FindUp claims to be the largest network of computer technicians in Latin America. Structurally, the company has two offices in Brazil, one in São Paulo and the other in Recife. Domo Invest's contribution was the largest received by the startup, which until then had only raised just over 600 thousand reais in an angel investment led by 4Z Investimentos.

The startup bases its business on a shared economy model similar to that used by companies like Uber, food, and Rappi, but with computers, technicians specialized in the maintenance and repair of computers instead of drivers or delivery personnel. Through an application, professionals register and receive orders according to the location where they work. The idea is to facilitate the search and hiring of these professionals.

To help the consumer to save costs, the platform's hired technicians have no CLT employment relationship and receive only for work done, acting as individual microentrepreneurs. In order to be part of the network, they need to carry out a selection of tests that will determine what each professional is qualified to do. With the operation, the company says it reduces the cost of services by up to 30%.
