OCALA, Fla 9/22/2020. – Advent Health Ocala officials said a coronavirus treatment the hospital is using is leading to a better survival rate.
Officials said the drug combination protocol is known as ICAM.
ICAM uses medications such as vitamins to boost the immune system, steroids to control inflammation, blood thinners to prevent blood clots and antibiotics to help fight infection, according to officials.
“For 76 days our patients had zero transfers to the intensive care unit, zero mechanical ventilator placement, and zero death with ICAM and ICAM-similar regimens.
I was absolutely pleased to see our patients getting better faster and we were able to provide the guidance needed to save lives,” said Dr. Carlette Norwood-Williams, director of pharmacy at Advent Health Ocala.
“Our research shows the right medication can influence improvements in a COVID-19 patient’s inflammatory marker response, contributing to the survival of the virus, regardless of age or comorbidity if they can start the therapy as soon as they are diagnosed.”
Advent Health Ocala officials said they saw a 96.4 success rate in patients who received only the ICAM protocol immediately after they were admitted.
Officials said they hope to replicate the work of the clinical team and potentially lower mortality rates in coronavirus patients around the globe.

The Advent Health Covid cocktail functions essentially the same as the highly successful "Zelenko Protocol" developed by Dr. Vadimir Zelenko that uses hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as the ionophore to allow the zinc to enter the cell to halt the replication of the virus. (See Medcram video)
Dr. Zelenko uses azithromycin and zinc in addition to HCQ in his protocol as an immediate treatment and prophylactic strategy to prevent patient's from needing to be admitted to a hospital.
Big Pharma has waged a campaign of weaponized disinformation against HCQ because the drug is also effective against the Flu and other viruses, thus endangering the $Trillions in profits from the annual Flu vaccination that has a poor history of effectiveness that too often fails to achieve it's stated goal of "herd immunity."
If the public should realize they can avoid a vaccine for a much more immediate, safer, effective and low-cost oral medication, the vaccine industry would suffer a major economic loss.
In the age of modern medicine, the concept of using vaccines derived from animal parts and toxic metals is increasingly regarded as primitive guess-work involving the use of harmful adjuvants like mercury and aluminum that are linked to permanent neurological disorders and even death.
