Pari Mahal srinagar, also known as the “Palace of Fairies”, is a seven-terraced garden located on the Zabarwan mountain range overlooking the city of Srinagar and Dal Lake in Kashmir. It was built by Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh in the mid-1600s as a library and observatory.
The palace is a fine example of Mughal architecture, with features such as arched doorways, chhatris (domes), and delicate latticework. The gardens are laid out in a symmetrical pattern, with fountains and pools.
