Sole Rep visa refusal - what’s next and your options!

An overview of the UK Sole Rep visa procedure?

The route enables the holder to operate as an agent of a firm subsidiary in order to create a registered branch or a wholly owned subsidiary in the UK.

The ability to open a branch of one's foreign company in the UK without making any financial commitments makes the UK Sole Rep visa option a popular one among investors and business people.

It is appropriate for staff members in UK journalism and media organisations engaged in long-term projects.

Senior employees may apply through this avenue even if they are not majority stockholders.

Option on a denial of a visa for a single representative from the UK

You can ask for an administrative review if your request to represent the UK alone was turned down.

What is an administrative review?

Only if it is stated in the letter notifying you of the refusal that you may request a review of the decision if your visa application is denied, can you do so. You do not have a full right of appeal if your visa application was denied based on a points system, but you can request an administrative review.

A letter of refusal, some instructions, and a notification requesting an administrative review will also be sent to you.

If you believe the embassy erred in rejecting your request, you can request an administrative review.

Consider applying for additional visa categories for which you could be eligible, such as the UK Expansion Worker category.

In the event that a request for a UK Sole Representative visa is rejected, the UK has added a new visa option known as the UK Expansion Worker visa within the Global Business Mobility category as a backup.

If you want to grow your business in the UK after being denied a UK Sole Rep visa, you can do so by applying for a UK Expansion Worker visa.

What is a work visa for the UK expansion? For international workers who wish to work temporarily in the UK, this sort of visa is available. That foreign corporation must employ a senior manager or an expert.

Keep in mind that the only other option is to establish a branch office in the UK using the UK Expansion Worker visa if the company has not yet been conducting business there.

You could instead apply for a "Global Business Mobility - Senior or Specialist Worker visa" if the company is currently functioning in the UK.

Skilled Worker Visa

Workers use a UK skilled worker visa to work for a respectable company. In the UK, this visa has replaced the Tier-2 general work visa. If your business is a UK-based organisation recognised by the Home Office and you have their certificate of sponsorship, anyone may be qualified for a skilled worker visa. Depending on the type of work you conduct, you can apply for a visa after accepting a job offer with a minimum wage.
