Natural Explorer (M,A,W): Affect self [choose ONE with LVL 1 feat, TWO with LVL 2 feat, and THREE with LVL 3 feat]

LVL 1 = Terrain Type: 1 - Enhanced travel, survival, tracking, and combat in these terrains

Quiver (A): Affect Enemies

LVL 1 = Field Tips: 1 - Add one die to all ranged attacks

LVL 2 = Steel Tips: 2 - Add two dice to all ranged attacks

LVL 3 = Razor Tips: 3 - Add three dice to all ranged attacks with spillover damage

 

Hide in Plain Sight (W): Affect Self [requires access to dirt, water, and a flat surface]

LVL 1 = Camouflage: 1 - Attempt to hide against a surface, losing benefit with movement or action

LVL 2 = Become Nature: 2 - Attempt to hide against a surface, losing benefit with movement

LVL 3 = Vanish: 3 - Attempt to hide against a surface, losing benefit only with roll failure

 

Horde Breaker (A): Affect Enemies

LVL 1 = Break Lines: 1 - Attack two creatures, spreading damage to both [ranged]

LVL 2 = Destroy Lines: 2 - Attack three creatures, spreading damage to all [ranged]

LVL 3 = Horde Breaker: 3 - Attack as many creatures as stars you roll, with a separate Agility roll for each [ranged]

 

Positioning Shot (A): Affect Enemies

LVL 1 = Distract: 1 - A hit will disengage the enemy from anyone in melee range

LVL 2 = Impede: 2 - A hit will disengage the enemy from anyone in melee range

LVL 3 = Devastate: 3 - A hit will disengage the enemy with a chance to skip a turn [roll DE alone]

 

Create Advantage (M): Affect Self

LVL 2 = Stave Bash: 2 - Use ranged weapon as melee

LVL 3 = Murder Hole: 3 - Ability to fire from melee range with added traits

LVL 1 = Coax Out: 1 - Fire while running, pulling one enemy with you

LVL 2 = Taunt Out: 2 - Fire twice while running, pulling up to two enemies with you

LVL 3 = Gather Masses: 3 - Fire thrice while running, pulling up to three enemies with you

 

Right Where You Want Them (W): Affect Terrain [ONLY used before combat. These can each be taken and leveled separately]

LVL 1 = Poison Trip: 1 - Set a poisonous tripwire to explode into a noxious cloud [dmg + WIS/AGI debuff]

LVL 1 = Razor Snare: 1 - Set a ground snare that halts progress and tears flesh [dmg + movement debuff]

LVL 1 = False Ground: 1 - Dig a hole, set spikes in it, then cover it with a disguise to trap foes [dmg + prone debuff]

 

Turn the Tides (M): Affect Enemies

LVL 1 = Rusty Steel: 1 - Bonus to melee attacks

LVL 2 = Honed Steel: 2 - Bonus to melee attacks

LVL 3 = Biting Steel: 3 - Bonus to melee attacks with an added half movement following

 

Improvised Cover (W): Affect Terrain

LVL 1 = Dig In: 1 - Create a block of half cover against frontal attacks, 1AC [stars = turns]

LVL 2 = Create Nest: 2 - Create three blocks of half cover against attacks, 1AC [stars = turns]

LVL 3 = Trapdoor Spider: 3 - Create three blocks of full cover against attacks, 2AC [stars = turns]

A Ranger from either class may choose TWO Passive trees to pursue

Animal Nature (W): Affect Self/Companion [HP pool of Companion is 3, 5, or 7 unless buffed by Handler's own HP]

LVL 1 = Minor Tamer: An unaided roll of 2 or more stars tames a low level creature

LVL 2 = Medium Tamer: An unaided roll of 2 or more stars tames a medium level creature

LVL 3 = Master Tamer: An unaided roll of 3 or more stars tames almost any creature

 

Wilderness Wise: Affect Allies

LVL 1 = Lookout: Three party stars needed to avoid random encounters while traveling

LVL 2 = Scout: Two party stars needed to avoid random encounters while traveling or resting

LVL 3 = Vanguard: One party star needed to avoid random encounters at all times

 

Debilitating Shot: Affect Enemies

LVL 1 = Prod: Ranged attacks of 2+ damage cut enemy movement in half for next turn

LVL 2 = Pierce: Ranged attacks of 2+ damage stop enemy movement for next turn

LVL 3 = Puncture: Ranged attacks of 3+ damage stop enemy movement and action next turn
