In order to apply for a licence you will need to decide which type suits you best, whether you want an open or closed-course, how many vehicles you want authorised under one licence, how many days per week you are planning on driving, and if you wish for any extended hours. A valid CPC is essential for all applications; it costs £27.50 and lasts 2 years. Please note that you must be at least 21 years old to obtain a CPC. If you already have a non-UK CPC then you may use that instead.
