Australian Artist Justin Pearson

Artist J Pearson renowned Bachelor of fine Arts at Byam Shaw School of Art in London U.K. In 1988. He has Auckland, New Zealand. London, United Kingdom. , most recently in Mittagong NSW. Pearson has been exhibiting his characteristic capricious style of painting from beautifully executed portraits to scenes of fleeting and whimsical moments in mythology and everyday life, since the 1980's. Nearer home Justin Pearson's works have been submitted in many solo exhibitions and to his name he has won much acclaim with sales all around the world. Justin's has held a deep interest in operatic performance for along time with a particular affinity for for the works of German Theatre Director and composer Richard Wagner. As an unofficial playful artist in residence at the Sydney Opera House, Justin has spent many days observing performances from the stage wings, creating experimental sketches and developing his style of dramatic ideas for paintings. Mr Pearson's (interest for operatic performance has led him to recently paint a portrait of baritone Warwick Fyfe 2019, for entry in the Archibald prize.
