DIY face mask disposable:
As everyone knows we've been going through some really tough times at the moment with a really bad virus spreading all around the world I'm going to be DIY and making it your own Mars I have two different types I have like this really cool one and then that there's also this design and face mask disposable you get this one Oh miss my ear that's like this the face mask disposable is so basic literally anyone can make them all you need is a sewing machine and some fabric and elastic and I'll get more into it so let's get written into the video now the first thing I did was get a template for the face mask disposable all the templates I'll be using will be linked in the description box down below and then I cut out two of the templates and I cut out one making it about an inch and a half longer on one edge you will need two pieces of fabric one for the lining and then one for the front with like a pattern on it that you want everyone to be able to see so I then took my patterned fabric and I folded it in half and then I pinned my bigger template on to it and I just cut that out okay so I chose cow print fabric because I kind of have like this thing for cow print at the merman I don't know I'm really loving the pattern I think other people like it too so comment down below if you like it cuz I don't want to be the only one so you will be left with two reversed pieces also these look completely different sizes but I promise they are the same it's just the angle I next took my smaller template and I pinned that onto two pieces of my white lining fabric and I just cut out those pieces you can actually use your front fabric on the back or any fabric but I just decided to use a white one next place the two right sides of your fabric together and then you're gonna sew both of them around the curve.
I used a sewing machine but if you don't have one you can do a hand stitch it just might take a bit longer because this is a curve you just want to make some little snips around the edges of the fabric making sure to not actually cut your stitching which I've done many times before now you're going to do the exact same thing and repeat that on your back lining fabric now this is an optional step but before I sew them together I just like to iron down the same flat now take the two right sides of your fabric and pin them together making sure to line up the center seams once it's pinned is so along the top and the bottom and then I did a bit more snipping around the curved scenes now turn them to the right sides are showing I then iron the seams flat as you can see I also folded and then iron down the edges of the excess fabric and then I folded them over again and I'm going to sew that down and this is where the elastic will be threaded through you will then need two pieces of elastic I measured mine birth to 18 centimeters and the measurements will be in the description box down below and now this is just the easy part all you need to do is spread through your elastic I just use a pin to help me thread it through once it's threaded through you just want to take the two ends and just sew them together I just went over this a whole heap of times to make sure it was secure I just twist it to hide the little bit I sewed and then you are done so here is the final mass I have been making heaps with all different fun colors and patterns I really love these Mars and they are super simple and easy to make or so go give them a go for yourself once again you will need two pieces of fabric one for the front and one piece for the back. Magicare is one of the best mask importers in USA.
The measurements of the template are both in inches and centimeters and they'll be linked in the description box down below cut one piece of fabric in nine by six inches and repeat on the second piece of fabric then cut out two pieces of elastic both 16 centimeters long with your right sides together sew all around the fabric leaving an opening in one side about two inches long now this looks tricky but I promise it's not you'll be sewing in the elastic while you sew up the edges so when you get to the first corner pop in one piece of elastic and make sure to sew it in the corner as you sew around when you get to the next corner you're going to find the end of the first piece of elastic and make sure it is flat and then sew it down into that corner you then repeat the same steps at the other end of your fabric with the second piece of elastic now honestly this part is a little bit fiddly but it's still really simple to do and it's probably the hardest part out of this whole face mask disposable which shows how simple this
is to make so then flip the face mask disposable to the right sides and then you'll see how the elastic is sewn in I then I am the face mask disposable and all of the edges flat and then what you next wanna do is make three pleats in these sides at both ends and then of course you just want to pin these pleats down and then I went ahead and start along the hull edge in over the plates and their new mosque is finished right Dion like facemask it's really hard to time to speak with that honor so thank you guys.
