Ghazni martyrdom operation leaves 109 invaders & hirelings dead, 2 helicopters wrecked
GHAZNI, Aug. 29 – As part of the current year’s Khalid bin Walid operation, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate on Wednesday targeted the major enemy base in Ghazni city built in form of a PRT near the capital, officials reporting from the same province say.
The attack began at 04:00 pm local time yesterday when 2 martyrdom heroes of Islamic Emirate detonated 2 truck bombs, one targeting the entrance of the PRT and another a nearby base of local forces.
The blasts were followed by 9 other martyrdom seekers, equipped with heavy and light arms, making their way inside the PRT where they targeted the intelligence HQ, artillery field, helicopter parking area, arms depot and hall as well as other strategic buildings and positions.
2 helicopters which landed at the base where immediately engaged with heavy weapons, leaving both of the choppers wrecked and killing all crew aboard while the operation lasted for about 8 hours in which as many as 78 invaders and 21 hirelings including spies and workers were killed with dozens of others wounded whereas 2 helicopters, 6 armored tanks, 20 vehicles and large parts of the bases were also destroyed, according to telephone conversations with the martyrdom seekers as well as locals and moles inside the enemy ranks.
Officials say that another group of 15 Mujahideen working as a defense line engaged the enemy outside with heavy and light weapons, sparking heavy clashes during which 2 enemy check posts were overrun, 10 gunmen killed and a pickup truck loaded with arms and ammunition seized.
The operation resulted in 11 martyrdom seekers and 4 Mujahideen in the defense line embracing martyrdom (may Allah accept them) while 11 Mujahideen came out alive and joined up with other units nearby.

4. Hameedullah from Gelan district of Ghazni province
5. Hamdullah from Yahya Khel district of Paktika province
6. Hayatullah from Gelan district of Ghazni province
7. Abu Bakr from Aab Band district of Ghazni province
8. Abdul Qadir from Khak Afghan district of Zabul province
9. Samiullah from Gero district of Ghazni province
10. Truck bomber Muhammad Ibrahim from Sayed Karam district of Paktia province
11. Second truck bomber Muhammad Umar from Khogyano district of Nangarhar province
