Hi Chuck -

Merry Christmas. I'm sorry I didn't respond the last time you e-mailed me awhile ago. I do remember that bamboo flute you made me all those years ago, and I have many memories of JNJ playing at the Ground Rounds, and all of you being there so often. We saw both Michelle and Cindy this past summer when they attended a couple of our library concerts. And we saw Michelle again early this month at a library holiday concert. It was really nice to reconnect with old friends. Coincidentally, a guy showed up at that concert who had been a manager at several Ground Rounds and remembered Joe and me. Where have all these years gone? I'm very grateful to still be able to sing and that Joe is still with me at many of my gigs. I almost died last year, so I am very grateful just to be alive and still have Keith with me. We knock on wood a lot and celebrated our fiftieth anniversary last year. I am not a music teacher -- I don't know why that comes up when you look me up online. Maybe because I played at so many schools and did artist in residence programs through the years. I can't really imagine the way you are living, but you sound content and I'm glad you are still playing music too. Keith and I both wish you well and hope you are safe and healthy. May you have a peaceful new year, Nan
