  2. Don’t expect people to cross the zebra crossing only when you are standing on a red light. They will cross the crossing (pedestrian) even when the green light is on.
  3. Two-wheeler riders don’t follow any traffic rules.
  4. Always keep the hazard lights switched on, while parking. The natives also follow the same practice.
  5. The road signs are written either in Greek or English, but at some places, you might not find any of them.
  6. The practice of tailgating is common, therefore don’t expect anyone to leave space for you if you ask for the side.
  7. If you are a resident of the United States of America then you need to carry your valid driving license along with an international Driving Permit to rent a car in Greece. The residents of other countries, only need the valid license issued by their local traffic authorities.
