Other: It doesn't matter if ANYBODY is 'detained' if they are RELEASED. A sane regime kills invaders, & rounds up those who invaded and gets rid of them too. If you gave hunters legal license to do so, they would PAY YOU for the fun, rather than it costing billion$ like that useless non-wall propaganda that is really just a thousand mile wide open doorway because it only covers half the border.

You don't even need a wall, but to issue legal 'hunting' licenses so legal gun owner 'sportsmen' can enjoy PAYING YOU to have fun doing 'target practice' at the border = problem solved, for eternity, & a YUGE money-maker for the government. You can build resorts along the border too, where people from around the world can join in for the 'Safari' =) I hear there is a way to turn corpses into oil as well, so then with government consent of course, the invader 'biomass' could be converted into fuel to help grow the real economy, not the welfare tax-rape anti-economy =D
