Teaching your cat to the toilet in the right place is the first thing to do when you start raising your cat. It will be very relaxing and comfortable for both you and the cat if they go to the toilet in the right place. If you do not carefully teach the cat to be freed in the first place, they will be very messy, go to the toilet around (surely you will feel extremely annoyed already), later it is difficult to teach
Teach cats to go to the toilet in the right place
Before teaching your cat to defecate in the toilet, you should know about how to teach toileting in place. This section is also helpful for new cats. You only need a plastic pot (or tray) because cats will jump into this pot, scratching and hiding stool, so the pot should be relatively spacious and comfortable. Then sprinkle a layer of cat litter (3-4 cm thick) or coal slag (easy to earn but economical so you can take 1 piece of coal slag into a cloth bag and use your feet to crush it).
Because cats like the privacy, quietness, cleanliness, you should keep this pot fixed in a hidden corner, close to the dry, clean wall (not near the cat's lying and eating area). Then put the cat in the pot, stroking, showing him to go to the toilet.
Repeat this a few times after the cat wakes up or has just finished eating. After only a few days the cat will get used to it and go to the toilet in the right place. You must remember to clean, change the new sand cat regularly, otherwise
they will go to the toilet wandering. Products that help cats go to the toilet: Best automatic litter box
Teach cats to go to the toilet
The need to regularly clean the tray, replace the sand, the old cat just heard through was quite difficult then, so if you can guide the cat to the toilet successfully (usually after 2-3 weeks), then you will be "freed" from the cat litter box ... simply draining the toilet is done. What was more amazing!
As with dogs, not every cat is taught to learn and practice properly. However, you should still try, try to be patient and patiently follow these steps:
Step 1: Get your cat in the habit of going to the toilet
If possible, use the toilet litter kit to make it easier for you to guide your cat.
If not, you only need 1 tray (big bowl, plastic bowl or foil bowl sold in supermarket ...) so that it can fit into the mouth of the toilet.
Place the sand tray right next to the toilet seat to get your cat in and out of the toilet.
Step 2: Tap for the cat to jump on the toilet
Once your cat is accustomed to using the toilet, place the litter box in the mouth of the toilet and pull down the plastic rim to make it easier for him to stand on the slippery non-slip toilet.
Give your cat some dry grain or their favorite food right next to the toilet. Then, take a small nut into the cat's nose and slowly put it on the edge of the toilet. When the cat jumps up, reward them and cuddle. Repeat to encourage and help your cat get used to jumping on the toilet.
List a two-step staircase made of thick books, plastic chairs, bricks, etc. so that your cat can more easily jump onto the toilet in case a young cat is not used to jumping up.
Step 3: Get your cat accustomed to the water in the toilet
After a few days of getting used to jumping on a toilet bowl tray, make a small hole in the center of the tray (about 5 cm in diameter) so that when the cat scratches the stool, it will fall into the toilet bowl.
Every day or a few days depending on your cat's ability to learn, continue to widen the hole until it is close to the mouth of the toilet and gradually reduce the amount of sand pouring into the cat's sand tray. The less the cat instinctively, the more it raises, so the stool will fall into the water.
Step 4: Complete the lesson
By the time you realize that your cat is accustomed to being proficient no longer needs the support of the litter box. Remove the sand tray so that the cat can sensitive to the toilet and go to the toilet.
In the process of teaching if your cat does not practice well at any step, try to practice again, do not yell or scold him. I believe that with your love and perseverance your cat will quickly complete this lesson.
