If you have a 4-year degree, the followings are required:

- Minimum of 35 hours of Project Management Education.
If you carry a high school diploma, then the followings are required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Professional Project Management.
- 7500 hours spent on handling projects.
- Minimum of 35 hours of Project Management Education.
WHAT IS THE EXAM PROCESS FOR PMP?
If you are eligible for the PMP certification, then you can proceed for its examination within 1 year of the eligibility period. A candidate can either opt for online mode or offline one for the PMP examination. The online examination can be given to the Prometric test centers wherever available. A PMP aspirant is supposed to answer 200 multiple choice questions out of which 25 questions are pre-released. So, these 25 questions are not included in the scoring and the final result is evaluated on the remaining 175 questions. The time duration of 4 hours is allocated to complete the examination.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COSTS TO BECOME PMP CERTIFIED?
The PMI offers the certification examination for PMI members and non-PMI members separately. For PMI members, the examination fee is 405 USD. For the non-PMI members, the examination costs 555 USD. The membership cost of PMI is 129 USD plus a 10 USD one-time application fee. This membership is required to be renewed every year with 129 USD. To prepare for the PMP examination, you can refer to the many resources available online as well as offline. PMBOK Guide, also known as the Project Management Body of Knowledge, is a quite popular and useful reference studied worldwide by PMP aspirants. The PMBOK Guide is published by PMI itself and covers all the essential topics which can be asked in the PMP examination. The book is provided free of cost for PMI members as its soft copy, whereas the same as hard copy costs 70 USD.
