It was a playground joke, and @...... took it as such.
It was meant to alleviate the tension; and @... took it as such.
I’m not sure of your intention here. :thinking:

From your reply, it would look like in this case there’s been an honest miscommunication / misinterpretation. I apologise for my part in that. I do, nevertheless, hope you’ll be willing to try to understand things from our point of view.
We don’t normally alert people to the fact that their posts have been flagged, but so as to help common understanding I will mention on this occasion that your post was flagged by two different people (so as to avoid further misunderstanding I want to add that neither flag came from @..... - many members rightly try too help look after the forum and keep space friendly by flagging things that aren’t directly to them personally). This is how your post came to our attention.
I trust you will accept that we have absolutely no way of knowing that your dad has been dead since your 20’s, all we can do is read the post at face value and assess it against the guidelines. We surely do enjoy and welcome good humour, but on this occasion all I can say is that the joke didn’t come through to us and that it was possible - as we did - to understand it as a being more aggressive than you evidently intended.
Again, I apologise on behalf of the mods, for not have been able to perceive your light-hearted intentions. In effort to take something positive from this, perhaps this can stand as a good example of how important it is to be careful with online communication and, likewise, how important it can be to make intentions as clear as possible.
With respect to the official warning, I’d suggest not worrying about it. In any case they work cumulatively, so trusting we’ll have no need to pick up any of your posts going forward, it can just as well be forgotten.
I hope this resolves things happily enough.
