Ever since he had memory, Felix knew there was something wrong with him. He was smart, quite ahead of his peers, pretty much introverted, but in general an honest and good-spirited lynx.

 

However, he suffered from intense, random dreams that messed up his perception of reality.

 

His parents had him tested countless times, but no result was conclusive: He was a fairly ordinary and healthy boy. 

 

As he grew up, the dreams only got more intense and detailed, so much so that Felix was getting unable to distinguish whenever he was dreaming or he was back in real life. As hard as he pinched himself, whether in his sleep or while awake, he felt the pain… and he remained still without answers. He needed a definite proof that the reality he was in, was the real one.
