What is a stroke?
A stroke is often life-threatening that happens when there is a stop in blood supply to part of the brain. Since it is a life-threatening medical condition, immediate treatment is required. The earlier a person gets the treatment, the less damage one will face.
Types of Strokes
There are three major types of stroke,

Ischemic stroke

Hemorrhagic stroke

Transient ischemic attack (mini-stroke)

An Ischemic stroke happens when the blood clots through blockages.

A Hemorrhagic stroke happens when the artery leaks blood.

A Transient ischemic attack is commonly known as a mini-stroke and occurs when the blood flow is blocked. It remains for a short time (usually not more than 5 minutes)
Symptoms of a stroke

The face may drop on one side.

The person may not be able to lift arms and feels numbness

The speech may be slurred or unclear
