Features oA Good Teacher Training Course(TTC)  Institute

Yoga is the oldest form of exercise which relieves your mind and body. If you are a person who does yoga daily, you would understand the benefits that yoga has. A passionate yoga doer finds following changes in their lifestyle like better sleep cycle or improvement in immunity or feeling relaxed and at ease. Yoga provides many benefits to the doer. If you are looking for being a yoga teacher, you must look for an institute which has such features-

1) Theory lesson- A good yoga school provides theory lectures on yoga philosophy. Yoga has various types of aasans (poses) and every pose has a history and has been formulated by different sages. The theory part of yoga includes yoga philosophy, classical yoga, yoga sutras, karma yoga, mantra chanting, meditation and much more.

2) Practical lessons- As the theory is important, knowledge about practical is also essential. Yoga has basic anatomy and physiology and thus knowledge about the human body is needed. While teaching yoga, you would be working with an actual person and ignorance about bodily functions may result in damage to the body of the person who is learning about yoga. The actual application of yoga to deal with various ailments like acidity, weight issues, posture, Blood pressure issues etc. must be taught to the learner by the institute.

3) The teaching of fundamentals of yoga- Yogic life is based on four factors- ahar, vihar, achar and vichar. It can be explained as Having right food (ahar), doing right exercises (vihar), having right habits and code of conduct (achar) and having right kind of thoughts(vichar). A good training institute provides knowledge about the four basic factors.

4) Ethical guidelines- Like every other profession, teaching yoga also has some ethics. A good institute teaches yoga and it also teaches a code of conduct to its trainees.

5) Exams- Find an institute which conducts exams for the course being taught. And by exams, it is meant that it must have multiple exams during training period because exams help find flaws in short duration. 6)Equal weightage- A good institute has exams which focusses equally on theoretical and practical aspect. In yoga, the theory is as important as practical and hence a good institute must focus on both.

7) Personal attention- The batch size in the training program must not be very big because a big batch means the absence of personal attention. If the batch size is small the teacher can focus on you and help you correct your flaws.

8) Teachers- A good institute has teachers who teach the course well. If you go to an institute and the trainer is not good at teaching, you would be wasting your time and money. Avoid such institutes by reviewing their testimonies and reviews given by their students.
