Kiwoom Heroes said on the 11th, "We signed a 2024 season contract with Dawson for a total of $600,000, including $550,000 a year and $50,000 in incentives."
Dawson, who joined Russell as a substitute in July, hit 77 for 229 with .336 three homers, 29 RBIs and nine steals in 57 games.
"Dawson is a five-tool player type and contributed to the team's victory by playing in various positions such as offense, defense, and base," a Kiwoom club official said. "Thanks to his unique cheerful personality, the relationship with his teammates was smooth, and he instilled positive energy in the team with a sincere training attitude."
Shortly after signing the contract, Dawson said, "I'm more than anything else happy to play in the KBO League again. In particular, I'm happy to meet the Kiwoom Heroes fans who gave me a lot of love," adding, "I'll do my best to help the team win more next season."
