Many of our favourite hiking trails in NSW are found in the Blue Mountains. Not only is the environment magnificent, but the routes themselves are diverse. The mountains have it all, from treks to breathtaking views, to swimmable waterfalls, jungle trails, slot canyons, and even routes where you can see glow worms!
Knapsack Bridge
Let's start our list of Things To Do in Blue Mountains with a fun bushwalk that leads to a magnificent, nearly 200-year-old viaduct. Glenbrook's Zig Zag walking trail follows a disused railway line from the second part of the nineteenth century. The Knapsack Bridge, which sits 40 metres above the gully and was officially opened in 1867, is a very magnificent sight in the Blue Mountains.
