How I trade : Oversold RSI (Under 30) in a stock that is not about to go bankrupt. Hopefully with some recent higher analyst price targets. Not on the OTC, preferably with a market cap in the billions.
How I find my stocks : Currently if I see something that is down a bunch on the CNBC "Market Movers" section I'll take a look at that stock. UPDATE : TradingView has a daily list of oversold stocks here.
I get my RSI number from StockCharts
I get my reverse RSI Numbers from ProfitSPI
I see the latest price targets from finviz.com / marketbeat.com
I use Robinhood, so I don't have trade fees.
I use limit orders to buy and sell.
You can use this online tool to calculate your Average Down and Up Price. Robinhood automatically does this for you.
I am long a few Chinese tech companies and some ETFs, but I like to do some quick smaller trades to keep myself entertained.
I'm looking to make at a minimum 5-10% on these trades and then roll into the next trade.
