This week the earth experienced

a G5 class GeoMagnetic Storm.

 

The tracker map above shows

relative levels of GPS reliability.

 

Green is the highest, with

0% to 2% outages reported.

 

Red shows 10% + interference.

 

Consider:

2% SOUNDS good, unless you

are one of the 2% jetliner flights

in a problem area...

 

Or if your Self-Driving car

is one of the 2% on a highway

onramp...

 

Note the level of interference

in war torn areas ...

 

Understand that interference

technology exists...

 

I think GPS is unreliable

in the current state of

Space Weather and

GeoPolitics.
