The Mohegan Sun and the community will come together on Friday, November 11 for a day to pay tribute to veterans and active duty service members and provide valuable resources. Bettslak on the Mohegan line will host a job fair, a veterans service organization and other resources. Veterans and active-duty soldiers can pre-register for this year's event through the website. Pre-registration of SaveA suit is also available to veterans and active duty service members. Save Usuit has been a partner in betsrak since 2017 and has been suitable for more than 1,000 veterans and soldiers.

Vets Rock 2022 will open at The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 1:30 p.m., with special remarks from invited dignitaries, followed by a performance by the Mohegan Tribe color guard. Renowned chef Robert Irvine will attend and accept donations from the Vets Rock Foundation for the Robert Irvine Foundation. In addition to financial support from the highest-ranking military and emergency response agencies, the Robert Irvine Foundation supports our soldiers, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need through its resilience, health and wellness programs.
Betts Rock Expo
Guests can participate in the free Betts Rock Expo from 2-6 p.m. at the Unkas Ballroom on the Mohegan Line, located at the Sky Convention Center. The expo features more than 50 veterans' organizations and job fairs. The SaveAshoot program alone allows veterans and active-duty soldiers to return home in professional attire. SaveA suit will also receive donations from guests at the entrance to the Uncas Ballroom.
Following the event at the Uncas Ballroom, veterans can travel to the cabaret theatre for a big and tall comedy tour. The tour, featuring Big Adult and headliner Mike Boba, has become one of the most fun shows in comedy. When these men are not performing in major venues across the United States, they are raising money for our nation's veterans by playing VFW with the American Legion. Tickets to see this fun dynamic duo cost $35 and are available through Event Bright. The show is for mature viewers only, and must have at least 21 guests.
As a token of appreciation for the military, both past and present, the Mohigan Sun regularly offers military discounts to all active duty service members, veterans and military dependents at more than 40 stores and restaurants throughout the resort.
