Key factors of Power Distribution & Voltage Regulators

An emergency power is an independent system of power supply which use inverter ups or generators to supplies power to particular place where it is installed. Most of companies, office, building, apartments, and house have the inverter so that their work will not get disturb and everything runs smoothly.

An inverter converts DC battery power to standard AC voltage to provide back lightening system at the time of emergency. Some inverter provides continuous filtered power supply for many styles light and at emergency lighting.

Manu of us use power inverters for households, car, devices, and solar energy systems whenever you need an alternative power supply inverter can help you. Inverter draw power for either 12volt battery or small batteries that wired in parallel.

There are two types of voltage regulators linear and switching. Voltage regulation compare the output voltage with a precise voltage and adjust the pass device to maintain a constant output voltage. It regulates voltage during power fluctuations and variation in loads. It ensures a steady constant voltage supply through all operational conditions and voltage regulator usually takes higher input voltage and emits a lower, more stable output voltage.

There are two types of voltage regulators liner and Switching. Linear regulates operate low efficiency and switching regulators with high efficiency. Same like regulators there are two types of voltage, DC voltage and Ac Voltage.              D Voltage has same Polarity such as in battery. The AC voltage alternates between positive and negative.

Electric Power Distribution is the final stage in the delivery of electric power, it carries electricity from the transmission system to individual consumers. There are three types of power distribution system design

  • Radial
  • Loop or Network

You can use combination of these three systems, and its frequently done also. The radial distribution system is the cheapest to build and is widely used in populated area. The primary purpose of an electricity distribution system is to meet customer’s demand for energy after receiving the bulk electrical energy from transmission or sub-transmission substation.

There are major types of distribution substations Primary Substance and Customer Substation. Online Power has power distribution unit, high capacity built-in power distribution with monitoring, Power Pal (3 phase, 15-300 KVA). Power distribution Power Pal are used in Computer Room, Schools, hospitals, Churches, City hall, Liberty, fire stations, Printing facility, Shopping Center, malls, restaurants, medical camp, printing equip, machine shop and service station.
