wherever you get your podcast from but still enough about me speed reading through this [ __ ] we're here to talk about probably the most important weekend that the rising fighting Federation has almost ever had in its seven year history and that is coming up this weekend September 24th Market calendars it's gonna be live on fight TV it's going to be live on multiple different networks around the world I think 110 and I mean I think like 80 in total and 110 different languages still though is the international phenomenon known as Super Rising and Verizon 38 also known as Mayweather versus asakura and I know guys y'all were basically excited from the get-go that this fight was even gonna go down that this event was even going to go down that hell it was even going to be shown internationally but what are y'all thoughts about it to clarify rise of 38 or supervising or do you mean collectively ah thank you James unfortunately unfortunately we know the supervising cards only going to be shown in some cases the Mayweather osakura fight will be shown but still it's an international phenomenon because Verizon's at least getting some type of you know a boost to popularity because of it oh yeah I'm super excited for this I mean this is like like Jay Chris was saying it's gonna be one of the biggest weekends in rise in history right here another Mayweather exhibition bout versus Mercure azakura 155 pound power puncher I mean maybe with underestimates them you never know Mercury could knock them out and give him 50 and one that's what we're hoping for but the big thing is is that they're they're combining Super Rising and ryzen 38 into one card so they're and they're having it on DirecTV this time just like a throwback to the almighty Pride FC when they were on DirecTV so I'm super excited for this I mean they have some absolute bang Fest matchups and they're starting off the ryzen 38 card with the absolute Banger I mean just pretty much obviously guaranteed violence Fest it's going to be Yuri O'Hara versus Luis Gustavo I mean they both of those guys have been have shown that they can they know the superior rule set and I mean eurohara himself as you know those past several fights has ended by Soccer kicking Stomps I'm mean how freaking awesome is that and that's why they're putting right off the kick off the bat for this 38 car so they're like Jay Chris was same this card is is geared towards International audience that's why it's starting early at 8pm Pacific 11 p.m eastern time and it starts with the Floyd Mayweather card which they call Super Rising it's only got four bouts and they wisely combine the pay-per-view to have include a ryzen 38 card afterwards after an hour intermission and that's and they're kicking it right off with yuriohar versus Luis Gustavo and I'm just I'm just so excited because you know Mayweather commands attention you know Floyd Money Mayweather He commands attention and you know there's going to get be some eyeballs on this card and I just can't wait for the fans to see the superior rule set in action because I mean you guys know dude the past several epic risings have at least one fight out of every card has had finished via Superior rule set with Soccer Kicks or Stomps or something like that I mean it's just in every single car now the fighters are getting more and more acclimated to the superior rule set so I can't wait for the fans to see it I can't believe it's back on DirecTV and back on fight TV I mean Drew you were saying that uh you don't know if it's it's for sure if it's a one-off or no I don't think it's a one-off I prefer to have hope that it's not I think that the uh fight TV is their new online platform and what I'm hoping for is that they're going to be on DirecTV as well for like the big cards for like maybe like the New Year's Eve Bellator collaboration event you know I mean just it's just a really exciting time right now for epic Rising I just can't wait for this week it's gonna be so much fun I can't wait to watch with you guys Jade I don't have hope for a lot of things and it all comes down to this it's because I've I've lost all opium ever since I saw Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull in theaters and when after we just had the match happen that they said was never going to happen but to carry Bruce's tension the kickboxing super fight that everybody we were trying to tell them for years to have hope on that one and it was going to happen and it came together it happened this year and was one of the biggest combat sports events of the entire year if not for the last freaking decade it was one of the biggest Combat Sports event if not of you know the biggest ever I mean it was it was absolutely huge they scored massive pay-per-view sales everything I mean so how can you have hope after that happened well that's the I think the match kind just happened because of circumstances I think CJ put it best he says that the pandemic hadn't happened if these promotions K1 rise and uh rise and collectively shoot boxing all collectively didn't have Financial issues because of the pandemic he does not think the pan the match would have happened and I would kind of have to agree because considering the difficulty that K1 and I'll exclusively put the K1 was was putting like the you know the new the whole neutral thing and all that [ __ ] and and what guess what I wound up you know it wound up not being neutral because it basically yeah it's akakibara all over it and uh Rising all over his uh kind of in directory as well so I I don't cocky bar was all over he made it happen yeah but remember the whole thing was that like I only had to be on neutral ground and it's like suddenly like now it's not on neutral territory or whatever and then you know you know the whole Fuji TV thing and all that you know with you know it was the main thing is that like you know I don't think it would have happened you know if everything was hunky-dory and some person hadn't eaten of bats in 2020 and caused all these issues I think I would have I think we would not have gotten the match to tell you I think it would have been gone down like a uh like a one of those you know one of those fights that just would have been a dream like Anderson Silva GST Tony Ferg khabib or I don't know I don't know whatever kickboxing equivalent yeah that I think attention would have immediately gotten the kickboxing I don't know I really don't think I don't think it would have happened it happened too many too many cooks in the kitchen too many cooks in the kitchen it happened and it was awesome so you need to have hope I'm telling you it's awesome and yeah but here's the other thing when you don't have hope the disappointment is less than like it's it's like it's like remember when they come on yeah as you know when you used to get Christmas presents uh Jay Chris when you get Christmas presents and you think oh boy it's gonna be a race car or it's gonna be a PlayStation and it's a [ __ ] it's a [ __ ] pair of socks like come on yeah either that or in my case you know I'm wanting like the new video game or you know like a subscription to something instead all I get is like a study manual or something that's why I always I always that's why you lower your expectations because if [ __ ] goes perfect [ __ ] is great uh it feels better and if [ __ ] goes wrong yeah you know what you were internally prepared and I've learned that ever since Kingdom of the Crystal Skull disappointed me when when Indiana Jones encountered aliens so that's why that's why I mean come to think of it I I was thinking that you were only like what 10 when that [ __ ] came out I can't do math what's 87 plus 20. yeah I was 21 I was 20. I was 21 when I came in like one of that came out yeah that's why obviously you basically it's like you grew up watching certain things as a kid like for example I just came off of watching an old school Rockets game on get playback shout out to clutch fans by the way and you know I was basically I mean basically what I'm trying to say is you think certain things are gonna you know be seen in your way but instead they just turned out so differently you know you guys think that I shouldn't be excited about this yuriohara versus oh no no you know get excited for the MMA card it's just realize that this supervising card even though it only got four fights on it which we're gonna detail in discussion and a few short moments for the craziness that come after this um as well you know the other thing is also is that you know if they're never on fight ever again then you know what it's like you know what they're back on fight for one thing uh uh you know so don't uh you know don't or DirecTV or whatever so you know don't want to be so successful that they're gonna be on there for the next year or two on fight TV and let's hope that it's successful on DirecTV so that they have all the big events but uh New Year's and and you know like maybe remember uh they just had an interview with Chicago's son talking about he wants to have four to five events next year geared towards the American Market North America market and he's gonna happen at this earlier time zone so that we can watch them where they start around eight o'clock eight nine o'clock and you know it's so I mean it's those are some good signs you guys I mean you guys I'm telling you got take a hit of someone's hope you I'm telling you it's it's looking awesome so I I can't wait dude it's gonna be fun there's no no yeah actually he would have part of it because remember at the weigh-ins or not the Wayans but the the initial press conference remember when he pushed Mercure azakura and that made like huge headlines because he almost pushed him off the stage and like it generated just I mean it would I couldn't believe how many articles was written about that so I would definitely give him a partial credit I mean but you know the credit goes uh Floyd maywe Mayweather because he he's the he's the like he always says he's the a side you know he's the one that commands the attention you know he's he's bringing the crossover appeal from the boxing crossover fans that are that are going to be curious about this event and I mean it's just I think you overstate the that's that that uh audience yeah I really do because I think the I think the Floyd exhibition train has sailed path I think the last I think the Logan Paul was a Logan Paul or Jake Paul I don't even know at this point Logan Paul Logan Paul I think I think that I think that was like Peak that was Peak Mayweather exhibition you know nobody cared about the Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia thing on a helicopter roof um this is just a Payday for him I don't think he's even said mikaru's name once in any like interviews or anything he just keeps on saying like my opponents you know so that could be dangerous for him because mikuru is 155 pound fighter with punching power okay and and if Mayweather underestimates him and just thinks he's gonna freaking just walk all over him I mean which he might I mean because you know he's a great boxer but if you underestimate some he could get caught and with one of the Curious power punches I I thank you sincerely I think you're sincere I think I know I I like if you're if you're working for DraftKings uh Jay you are not still you're not convincing me to put any money on Meeker at this point it is still clearly a fully fight I mean so when people just ask both of you I'll start with you jaywalk so okay I'm gonna consider these two separate shows they are so drastically different because one show is clearly better than the others in my opinion so I want to say why is do you think that rise that's super sorry Thrice of 38 is a better show overall looks like the battle show overall J wolf yes absolutely and I'm really happy that they made a decision to combine these two events into one you know and because I mean for the fans they're going to be buying this pay-per-view to see Floyd Mayweather they're going to get the ryzen 38 card as like a bonus and I'm really excited for them to see that because it's just I mean it's loaded with absolute bangers I mean and they're kicking it off with with just an absolute just violence Fest bang Fest I mean whatever you want to call I mean that that yuriohara versus Luis Gustavo but I have extreme high hopes for that that one's not an absolute Chris I'm sorry sorry sorry jay um yeah oh no I'm sorry I meant to say Chris Chris uh your thoughts which uh do you Rising you gotta agree that ryzen 30 the 30 looks like the better card overall right well you know qual quality wise you know easy for me to say I think that ryzen 38 is the better card because you know you got obviously the women's super animate Grand Prix and the co-main event spots ayaka hamasaki versus Sibu Park and Seiki is aqua versus Anastasia little tiger specs keeps good and you obviously got kyoji horiguchi in the main event which is going to be the main draw for the Die Hard fight fans like us not to mention the overall fight fans that actually care about this type of stuff but I think when it comes down to what you got more fights you're gonna hope to have more excitement and in a way you know you're just hoping that all in all this ends up being a good show period not just with the supervising car that'll probably get the bloggers and the Talking Heads talking about it win or lose drop a great point but before actually I want to bring up that point is for a second J um Chris sorry uh Jacob buyer says to be honest if Verizon wants to appeal to American audiences they need to hold events of Pride rules and not go to America unless they could get the pride rules and non-unify rules otherwise we'd watch one if you want to watch unified rules Asian MMA um and I agree with that because here's the thing you gotta have differentiate yourself uh when it comes to and you know like if you don't if you just wanted to watch MMA with unified rules and it's rising you're just gonna watch UFC or Bellator for the most part it uh it it would make no sense to like just watch a promotion that you're not familiar with that you own that you probably don't know most of the guys so that's what that's what Verizon has to sell if they want to come to America is they have to do the you they have to do the pride rules for soccer Superior rule set AKA Jay wolf and would you agree with that with that J wolf that that's what they have to do to differentiate themselves if they if they want to appeal to America and say this is this is we have these sets you can do this that they can't do anywhere else yes absolutely that is that is one of the main appeals of Epic ryzen is their Superior rule set that's just the most exciting most dynamic fighting environment known to man it's just it's just it's Sensational and I I 100 agree that you know they need to keep pushing to get those rules here but I mean it's you can't you can't blame them they try to do that for their Hawaii event but the commission was not allowing it you know but they they can there's several commissions here in America where they could go like Colorado Colorado recently approved grounded knees also they could try Oklahoma Oklahoma allows one eight-man one night Grand Prix tournaments okay so they might be more open to have the full Superior rules set you know so there's there's different commissions where they could go to here in America but you know they're right now they're starting off with Hawaii and you know they tried to have the superior rule set but Hawaii commission was not having it so what what do you want them to do say oh okay well now we're not going to come here no more no absolutely keep just just like the almighty Pride FC did in Las Vegas just you gotta you gotta up the card though you gotta put like an amazing car that like people are gonna be like because listen you know you had you had heavy I mean I don't mean heavy weights and weight but like heavyweight names like Diaz and go face off against gomi and then other people and other names as well uh I mean come to think of it you would have had even a mark cut versus Butterbean match up instead you got butter bean versus the late Sean O'Hare yeah yeah exactly you kind of have to like do an outside the box car or put like something that gets people talking to at least make up for that I would say because remember from the presser when they were talking about this Hawaii event they were saying that there was going to be a collaboration with Bellator so I mean I think Scotty coaching to send over some Bellator Fighters and it's going to be it's gonna be awesome so I mean I agree with you that it would be 10 times better if it was with the superior rule set but I mean since the Hawaii commission won't allow that this time then just do it you know do it regularly with the unified rules have a collaboration event put it in a cage you know because that's what American Odyssey used to and then just keep going oh no no but you actually probably agree um uh tip or your buddy tief says at minimum keep it in the ring in the U.S and that's what now that would also be a factor that you I think you know if you have the ring you're saying This Is How We Do MMA this is not the cage this is not your usual yeah whatever um so I think that's I think that also can be an appealing Factor because more you say while people are used to MMA and occasion year I think overall Combat Sports is the idea of a ring is more familiar you know with the classic you know like a boxing wrestling whatever and I think that kind of I think the visual of it as well is also would could be interesting to people you know what like what MMA in a ring I haven't seen that you know here you know let's you know let's try let's let me go see that or something I think that's also a great way to you know if you can't do the unify rules I mean if you can't do that the pride rules the pride rules yeah no absolutely do it keep it in the rain then that's if you want to keep differentiate yourself keep it in the ring you also do uh possibly do a one night Grand Prix you know Pride style that's all but they don't have to they would have to approve the commissions are weird they have to that's that's the reason one of the reasons why a lot of these people like a victim memory Victor had that had the uh the the torment and it was technically an exhibition because they didn't get because they couldn't get permission from that I think those from the uh whatever um Mission whatever awesome you're talking about the Phoenix tournament yeah and knows how they have it done again since because they because the problem with torments in America is that it's you know a lot of commissions will improve them also promoters are and we saw those with pfl and we saw us Bellator is here people get injured you know and also look deep as well people get injured all the time and so that's why like they are so hesitant to like okay they remember remember UFC tried uh remember try the 508 thing and the the five late finals ended in a draw yes we remember that yeah one of the fighters I think only fought once inside the Octagon yeah so I'm not saying I'm saying you can't do it but it's gonna be difficult well look the reason I brought that up is because Hawaii has so in the past they have had one night Turners Remember The Rumble in the Rock tournaments remember that was yeah that was years ago though that was I think if y'all remember well it was not just K1 rumble on the rock it was also Super Brawl as well for those classic MMA fans but you guys are talking about [ __ ] that happened ages ago and I don't want to say MMA evolved but MMA has a lot difference I mean remember UFC used to do his thing as well you know so this is a problem this is the thing is that and especially Hawaii because I knew I knew that Hawaii wasn't going to I think we I even said that I don't think that Hawaii was even going to uh uh approve Pride rules I think they were gonna I uh only go by Nevada state unified whatever so I if the like heard that they would approve it now I think one night tournament as high unlikely before we go into supervising I just want to say in the chat uh Jacob ire says have they tried running in Puerto Rico would they allow Pride rules there um I don't think they would mostly because first of all shout out to Puerto Rico they're currently going through some [ __ ] right now with you know the hurricanes and the flooding and all that so you know mucho mucho Amore to them but still though when it comes down to Puerto Rico yes it's still a U.S territory but also they got their own athletic commission too and considering the fact that the last time they had a major MMA show was all the way back in 1996 with UFC 8. I really don't know if they would be willing to do a show like this where or you know you got Rising rules even though of course you know there goes the thing with the athletic commissions again you're gonna have to deal with them too even in Puerto Rico I think combate Global had an event in Puerto Rico recently no no they didn't they tried to they try to by having Amanda but they never had an event in Puerto Rico San Juan or otherwise and so it sounds like unlikely listen if you said that last time was UFC eight there's a reason why UFC has not gone back so the likelihood is that probably Puerto Rico is not an ideal destination for MMA unfortunately and you know also logistically the reason why Hawaii so far so the Hawaii tourism board is paying for this you know that that's the reason why Bellator is there because tourism board is paying for Bellator and I presume potentially Rising uh to uh to come to Hawaii uh UFC wanted more money so Bellator said we'll take we'll we'll take less money Hawaii said yes so you know I don't know if like you know Hawaii is also just easier to get to from Japan you know yeah Fighters I mean a lot of people wouldn't want to go to Colorado or Houma or even anywhere for you know when Japan plays in the World Baseball Classic next year for obviously baseball but still the easiest way for Japan to get to the U.S is through Hawaii because Hawaii is closer to them than the entire Continental 48 which we are in all three of us um you know can get to uh no Jacob also asked what also what are your guys thoughts on gleet MMA bad idea or glorious or no geism I don't they will I don't know if you're familiar with gleats are you yeah yeah I saw this it's like a hybrid of pro wrestling and MMA I would I would say it's a stretch to even say a hybrid I don't know what to expect from it I think it's glitches are a very dry boring promotion in my opinion and I I don't know if it's going to be MMA or like pancreas style MMA where it's clearly a work but like I don't know or uwfi they've tried to do uwfi it doesn't look good because the guys they hire are not like Marshall like don't have any background and like that's stuff so it looks all I think honestly pretty terrible I know Chris you got any thoughts lead MMA bad idea or glorious and nokiaism well I think it's pronounced late like great you know just I pronounce it have been pronouncing gleet well yeah the name is spelled g-l-e-a-t but it's pronounced here like great but still though point of the matter is when it comes down to that promotion I think that I've heard of a few names from this side of the Pacific that wanted to be a part of the promotion obviously Alexander Quiet Storm are the first two Americans to join the promotion but still don't Quiet Storm I think that they're better off doing their current hybrid makes a professional wrestling and MMA if they ever get into MMA it's just going to be trouble for the rest of them you know yeah and also I don't even know how to watch the shows that's the other thing as well it's like they're on YouTube but like so sporadically I don't uh and I like yeah here's a thing nokiaism only works when enoki's behind it that's why I've I've come to learn nobody else you can't you can't copy nokiaism if you're not a Noki because he knew how to do it he knew how to give how to give things you know uh a realistic presentation where and like no [ __ ] behind it everybody else that followed has been like you know has it's like it's looked like [ __ ] it honestly has you know besides but these two not we've learned USD set the precedent that they could that has had like with Jon Jones and his failed trt levels and you know moving it to California for that whole show for the Gustav second Goose offset fights that there's no that no commission is not without immorality or bending the rules so absolutely so can we like yeah so yeah so you know what if I'm sakakibara I take the blackmail money promotion both done events on tribal land in North Dakota so but here's it Rising ain't going to North North Dakota not in a million years I don't care you can't convince me if they do I'll eat my shoe on a live stream or something listen if they wanted to listen if and also listen I don't think tribal lands you know they they they they go by unified rules as well because uh listen mohegan's son technically is trying to land yet they they recognize uh uh the unified rules as well you know I mean obviously of course they recognize the unified rules the same guy that runs the Mohegan tribe Department of athletic regulation Mike mazuli by the way is the same guy God runs Bellator events when they go outside the country okay well look look they've done eight man one of the Grand Prix we'll have to see how he works with Justin's hands but uh I expect this to be pretty good and but Mayweather was playing with McGregor too like when was the last time Mayweather walked someone down been a it's been a little while because he knew that uh the McGregor is a scrub in boxing so he made free McCoo the same way but he won't keep treating him that way if he gets tagged a few times he'll get serious and hopefully if he does win he'll knock and clean up that's what I hope um Moby Dick judge Holden very cool name by the way says McGregor was also 155. that's don't forget probably even maybe more even on weigh-in day well unless they had like a cap away I'm still was it was just a 145 at the time he was too far out there he'd been making 145 though I mean now if you see pictures of think maku is more comfortable 155 McGregor you know he did really well by the way he didn't completely translate up all the time as well to lightweight he did have a great win against uh Alvarez but we shocked the hell out of me but yeah I think makuru will do better than McGregor I don't think he's gonna get walked down I don't think Mayweather is going to want to walk this guy down I think he's going to use the shoulder roll use his defensive Mastery and then land counters counter rights and things like that it should be a lot of fun though I like the weird ones uh Jay Crush sorry jay Chris your thoughts on the on this exhibition I think it's gonna get a lot of eyeballs I mean obviously of course it's gonna get a lot of eyeballs to watch the product because Mayweather obviously is on the a side you know in the United States on the fight TV app it's gonna be billed as Mayweather versus osakula but you know if this fight ends up being anything I mean at least I can only hope that it or you're getting close getting Superstar status on name alone and then after that is the [ __ ] that as an MMA fan I was hoping others would see but with this show with this being the main event of the first portion will people give a a [ __ ] about what happens after that's the question I don't think so well dude if they're going to pay money to see Mayweather and they're going to get this extra card as a bonus afterwards why would they not check it out you know at least a couple fights I'm gonna talk about those those boxing fans that you're saying are tuning in for maywether okay because here's the thing so you know there's I mean you always see what the main event who comes in everybody comes in during the main event right nobody comes in not a lot of people come in for the Sensational fighter in Japanese MMA I mean just you know it's hard to pick a winner here the one I actually would like to win is Yuri O'Hara I'm hoping for him to get the next title shot I'm hoping this is actually a title Eliminator about and you know it just I'm just really excited for this one because I I just think it's just got fireworks and violence just it's absolute Banger just written all over it and just I just can't wait I mean if it doesn't if it's not action-packed I will be severely disappointed well this is why I say temper your expectations jabel because MVP Paul Daley is supposed to be a big in pacified and they hugged for three rounds so that was not under the superior rule set this one if they try to go on the ground and just hug around they can at least do grounded carryover fans from the Super Rising event with the Mayweather Mercure main event for that I I don't I don't believe that there's going to be a bunch of people leaving then they're gonna stick around Mikey Linares he's just gonna come there and get the check and that's it go back to South Korea well then you came for the checks those people but I think I he's generally not a guy who goes for a we get Anna Anna Banana be the the alternate for the Grand Prix oh yes yeah Listen by all means yeah listen you know let's get Anna to be I I have no problem listen I would much prefer to see her than uh Floyd Mayweather versus mikaru you know at this point so yeah yeah listen get Anna Banana to have a have a fight and rise and uh yeah of course of course that would be fun but Jay Wolfe you're basically saying you want to see the rematch between seika and zawa and ayakahama you know what I I actually actually no I I think that I think that's what's gonna happen but I think that I would rather see Seiki Zava versus newer uh fresh you know matchups so I would I would personally like to see sikizawa versus siwu Park in the final yeah I think that's also the kind of thing that sucks about this I think they were banking so they were going to do Reina versus seika as you said and I think listen and I think that's you know I you know I don't think you you could count Reyna easily out of that fight that's uh and so the oh I think ryzen at this at the behest and sacrifice of getting of having seika lose what we wanted to do ayaka and Reina because they said that they would never fight each other because they're teammates long time friends and teammates and they said the only way to fight is if it's in the final so you know now the likelihood of that fight is very very very very very very very very very very very tiny um so I don't think it's gonna happen uh as you know anyway I think that you know so now you're you all you do now run the risk so between if ayaka wins or siwu Park wins and then Seiko wins you then run the risk of hap is that your final is going to be a rematch I think I think for the seawood park is a little bit different because I was in deep Jewels or deep or whatever so that is you know that was a while ago you know I'm pretty sure you know what however many people in saitama did not see that and but then you have the hamazaki which is already two matches in you know one but I think both the one happened this year and then what happened New Year's Eve so it's barely a year you know this is kind of like old school where like you know we're like wanderlay and Rampage would have like a fight almost every year you know type thing but I think that was a different era um so I mean like so I I so Jay Wolfe what do you think so what's that so let's let's first take talk about uh Anastasia you think she's a good replacement did she deserve to take reina's place or should they have gone with somebody totally different no no I agree with that replacement she put on excellent performance against Arena you know she probably had the best performance of any of the losers of the Grand Prix quarterfinals she really did I I was at Daniel I think Daniel from Poland said that he was it was it him or somebody else who said that like oh if this had been under unified rules he would be the winner and I don't know if I agree with that but I at least can understand that she's the one who put up the biggest fights yeah yeah absolutely well I mean others there are no there's no way she beat rain I don't think so I mean I'm biased for Reina but I'm with you she didn't beat her under the you know the the rising rule set or the unified rules set you know we're judging it by round by round and the rising rule sets of fight as a whole so she didn't beat Rayna under any of those so but she did put up an excellent fight you know what I mean and she put the best fight up of any of the the people that did not advance in the quarterfinals so I think that was a great replacement you know and and again but they should have had like Jay Chris was saying on a couple of other shows dude they should have had alternates every Grand Prix yeah whatever reason they don't do alternates anymore I don't know why it's because this one was not a one night Grand Prix final Pride style that they normally do so you know that's why I didn't have it all from this time but they gotta have alternates no matter what even if it's not a one-night Grand Prix final so just they'll they'll they'll next year you'll see they'll go back to normal they'll have one night Grand Prix finals Pride style you'll have alternates everything it'll be fine so it's just this this this grumpy right here just the one-off basically two two and kind of think of it I for one am hoping to see a rematch between Seiki izawa and ayaka hamasaki assuming they will get past these two fights coming up I mean who knows maybe it might be siebel Park versus sick it's out in a deep Jules battle but still that's what I'm hoping to win on Sunday is that one hamasaki so they can battle up on New Year's Eve but a third time but here's the ironic part this is still being built just like Japan versus foreigners let's just say for the odd let's just say for some odd reason specs keeps go and park beat is our one hamasaki respectively how do you think a final between the only two foreigners left in this tournament will plan out I mean would pan out oh that's an interesting question uh Jay Wolfe what do you think about that that'd be awesome if it happened but I just don't see it happening it's just too good I mean she's a superstar in the making so I just don't see Anastasia being able to beat her I mean see we parked well is on on quite a rhyme right now so I could see her best scene hamasaki but at the same time oh yeah I still I just don't think it's going to happen either I think it's going to be a rematch with hamasaki on New Year's but you know to for for Jay Christian's point you know this is being built as as you know a foreigner in Japan versus the world basically yeah I mean if the if the foreigners win it's it's still going to be an awesome final I mean because then they'll have those big wins over over a huge you know Japanese women names so it's like that'd be a great final as well but I just don't see that happening really I mean you know like I said CK is always a superstar in the making and I I don't I don't know if seal Park's gonna be good enough to beat hamasaki I mean but we'll see I mean that's why they have the fights oh so a DG asked any chance she runs a table and uh just clarifying me which of the fires you mean do you mean uh uh oh DJ also says that uh then any chance she runs a table uh sorry can you clarify who would you mean by she wants a table um yeah she could definitely run the table absolutely no okay um so so Jay Wolfe so pick how you think these two fights are gonna go how you see them going I think hamasaki by you know submission but you never know I mean like I said civil Park and she just that her fight with Connor and the quarterfinals was a sensational performance she she beat her I mean just she beat her handily you know grounded knees use a superior rule set just excellent fight you know so I mean we could see a repeat of that you know see who Park I mean she showed great you know defensive grappling defensive wrestling you utilizing those grounded knees and everything so I mean it's just we'll see I mean hamasaki is no spring chicken herself so maybe she you know she's declined a little bit so maybe see who Park and pull off the upset and if not I mean I I see hamasaki being able to to submitter I mean because she's that good of a fighter still see and for the for the main event or the Cobain event with uh siki azawa try to see I mean she's a superstar to me and you know I just I'm really impressed with her she's a really impressive uh female fighter and just I I see her finishing Anastasia I mean she's she's that good and probably the Finish will be by submission if not I mean I mean maybe she could do uh you know Reina couldn't finish her with strikes so I don't know if zawa be able to finish her with strikes but you never know I mean it's it's going to be a good one for sure either way but I definitely see uh you know I could see izavo beating her by submission yeah is I was not a striker by trade so I I think it's highly unlikely she does beat uh uh and Stage that way potentially remember that's how izawa beat hamasaki was with those Up Kicks remember from the ground Thunder uh no she had to try the third well you talk about second five of the first fights uh the first five was the Up Kicks right up kick stunned her oh and then she got her down the ground and choked her out right okay yeah I think no I think she got her a triangle choke and then did ground and pound to her I think maybe I think the cupcakes maybe have hadn't had an effect file I don't recall the up kick are you thinking the Oshima Kana fight it was definitely izawa doing up Kicks and it Iraq tamasaki and and he she was able to and she hamasaki never recovered from the Up Kicks gotcha okay and then you're definitely right you're definitely right I I uh you definitely would know better than me because uh that was I I have to re-watch that fight because I think I definitely know you're right about that Jay wolf uh so okay DG clarified he wants to know they want to know any chance that Anastasia runs a table no I don't know that that'd be that'd be pretty difficult I mean of course there's always a chance you know but I just don't see that happening I mean he's always a superstar and for a good reason she's a great fighter and I just don't see Anastasia being able to beat her and she does and then that'd be incredible and then she you know maybe she does run the table who knows that'd be an amazing that'd be amazing story if it happens and then it would set up a rematch with Reina out after you know New Year's if she's able to to run the table and win the Grand Prix I mean that'd be an amazing story amazing story lines we come from it but they also said that uh then then they'll have two Japanese fighters in the alternates for the finals uh if uh if she runs the table June Kade says though Park train Japan at uh crazy P by the way I think the public attention is more Anastasia from the point she's from Ukraine and also had a good potential uh from Reign about and yeah yeah you know remember basically what June K is trying to say is Anastasia Spectra has tremendous upside so to speak hey remember at the end remember she and Reina held the Ukraine flag together uh and it was definitely you know it was definitely was I guess as they say a moment it was a moment uh between the two and Rising uh Jay critch I'm throwing over to you I think you kind of did you kind of did give uh how how yeah I kind of gained my predictions on how I mean I kind of gave my predictions as to who was gonna win I didn't say by how though yeah go ahead I mean obviously this is probably these two fights are probably gonna Envy a submission back to back and I think that the fight the finals will probably end in the same way but knows maybe hamasaki will get a revenge and we can see a fort fight for the title um I think a four or five you mean a third fight right is that third fight yeah third fight in the finals okay a fight then in April or May for the title okay gotcha gotcha um I mean think about it well here's the if these two are fighting off the files I would just make it for the title anyway I would I would waste time you know going a few months later right exactly um deal though it's like it's like I said before you know this is the theater of the unexpected this being MMA not just boxing so you know if a fight between and if Anastasia and civil Park do somehow pull off the upsets and in the case of Anastasia it would be probably the biggest upset for a European women's MMA fighter in Japan I do think that that particular fight Park versus spetskiewska will open up some highs um so I love chaos I love when when [ __ ] doesn't go to plan I think there I think Verizon's definitely Bank on Seiko to win um probably against ayaka um I'll also say this though you know I think that Cebu parked look here's the thing I don't think SeaWorld Park's gonna fall into the Trap of of getting submitted by ayaka I really don't think so um and the way that park has looked so far she looked amazing and especially on the stand up and that's where uh that's where ayaka's uh weakness is always if she has had any sort of weakness it's that is is on the stand up and especially compared to somebody like civil Park and I love ayaka but man I don't like this is going to be a tough one I think I gotta pick Park to go forward just based on how good she looks she I'll say I think parked looked better in her win against Kana than than ayako looked in her win against um against Jessica Aguilar so I think I definitely think that I I based that I'll base that on my pick here park uh to go forward now when it comes to seika and uh Anastasia man imagine just like imagine the [ __ ] that would just go down of Anastasia one wouldn't that be like cool wouldn't it would you like a j or would you be like [ __ ] God be devastated yeah no I like you zawa a lot so I I would be a devastating loss for me but I mean it'd be cool for you guys because you you like Drew said you like the chaos and you know fans like that it's pretty interesting we can do con we can do we could do psycha ayaka a year from now and I'll still be excited then you know it no in this case you know if it's a Grand Prix you know Verizon has no you can't not not do it unless one of them gets injured so you have to do it but like yeah I think you know and plus I don't know how much ayaka is going to fight you know how much longer um to tell you the truth I'll tell you you know what [ __ ] it I want the Anastasia win has more to gain from winning than seika has from losing against Anastasia and you know what come on this is a feel-good story I'm I'm all behind the feel of good stories I love feel good stories in MMA you know she she lost the fight against Reina she's from the Ukraine she's doing all that [ __ ] that's in the Ukraine she gets the uh gets another opportunity to fight in ryzen um I think Daniel may have made a mention that she looked like she wasn't like training seriously for the arena fight I'm hoping she trains seriously for this life because I think it's I think seika is definitely a tougher fight than uh Rayna I'm gonna say that anasty I don't know how you know I'll say Decision One whatever and I'll say a Cebu park I think that civil Park will will out will outmaneuver ayaka on the feet to go ahead to win so I'm gonna you guys are here for me Anastasia going on to the Horizon Adam wait GP files against Cebu Park I'm putting my money where in my mouth is I want I want to see I want to see a non-traditional fight I want to see I want to see a a a a ball to the wall Bonkers final and I mean you know the international audience would be all over it I'll say this as well guess what you could do for the alternate Jay wolf what ayaka versus seika okay no no just as an alternate for the finals as well if a DG you're saying you know hey if it's Tarkin Anastasia in the finals uh then hey do do ayaka and seika well they they don't need an alternate for for the finals tonight I mean they're gonna have an alternate it's got to be on one of these next upcoming cards in October because oh yeah that's true oh yeah I forgot yeah they're not doing it oh yeah so yeah okay I just you could do the fight anytime so you know what I I do not say I do not want to say that I'm looking forward to izalo losing and she probably will not but I would rather see Anastasia win they just just don't bet on that because you're going to be disappointed I've been I've been I've been a fan of listen every time that rises brought in those Eastern European or just European fires like Lara Croft uh the Polish fighter uh or just these yeah these these randos from from like countries I've never heard of brihar's biggest uh and others it's just like you know kind of I like to see these these P these these these people being getting plucked from obscurity uh and getting the big the big the big showcases Rising um uh but I know we're really wondering all the time because I'm really tired so I'm just gonna pause it this question to you J well combined of these two cards which two fights are you looking forward to the most three I'm sorry three fights three fights three fights okay all right the number one top fight people's Main Event no question yuriohara versus Luis Gustavo that one is just my most anticipated bout and if it is not an action-packed bang Fest I'm gonna be disappointed and for two more uh let me see here we can't pick any from supervising right no you can't you can't it's like combined so think of it as one card and pick you know two uh two more fights collectively okay if there's none for if there's none from Super I totally get it no I'm actually looking forward to the exhibition with uh Mayweather and mikuru and you know I'm I'm really happy that they're doing that and that they combined the cards because I I think that it's going to be it's gonna carry over and there's going to be new fans exposed to the awesomeness of Epic rides and Superior rules set for 38 and and it's just it's they're going to be hooked in through the the maywether mccurdu exhibition and then they're going to discover how awesome Epic ryzen is with their Superior rules set for 38 and you know and just I'm so happy they got yuriohara versus Gustavo kicking off the 38 card so that's that's my number one belt right there and then I'll pick the Mayweather azakura for number two and then for number three Bell man I don't know that's a tough one I would I think I might go with hagiwara I don't know you know It's just tough between the girls or kyoji or izawa I don't know there's there's so many good ones on this card it's just I mean even the big boy about you know she besai versus the the kickboxing crossover Brazilian I mean I don't know okay I'll go find them but I'm gonna go hogiwara still you know I just I just like him he's just a great fighter incited by inside outside the ring I just I wanted to get another win you know get off that losing streak so I'll go with that one for sure so those are my three I'm sorry jay Chris outside the respective main events for both parts of this card so outside of Miku versus Mayweather which everybody is going to be looking forward to around the world and outside of boy Gucci Versus kintaro yuto hokumula which we the die hards are going to be looking forward to I'm going to be looking I I for one am not going to be looking forward to any of the supervising cards outside the main event let's be real the main three fights I'm gonna be looking forward to are all on the ryzen 38 car and that'd be the heavyweight fight the open weight fight between show Miss GB sign and Kelly you gilbride Olive aka the Juggernaut and I'm most definitely looking forward to the Grand Prix the Grand Prix semifinal fights hamasaki versus Park and he's out with versus Anastasia Spitz keepska uh Andrew what say you so I'll be fair I'll always pick one one fight from supervisor and that's cozy versus Jizzy because I'm just like I'm just gonna be I'm I'm so perplexed by how this fight will go I'm I really I legitimately don't know how this fight's gonna go and I'm I'm I am it's kind of this is like the car crash this is like you know you know driving slowly to look at a car crash but I'm worried I mean come to think of it dude you live right near The Cross Bronx Expressway so I've also used to car crash but you know they always say you know oh people you know looking at a car crash it's interesting until you see the dead bodies so it's like I'm kind of I'm really I'm I don't know what the outcome will be so like I'm so like I I I worry about the outcome but I'm I'm so curious to see the fight I have to I have to I have to admit that then obviously because Roger 38 is just a better whatever ajiriohara who is Gustavo and you know what I'm really looking forward to uh seika zawa uh Sega I was always posting uh making a great fight and uh I'm really interested to see what Anastasia does because I'm presuming uh that I'm hoping that she's trained for this fight she realizes listen the odds are that she wouldn't have got a second opportunity Horizon this quickly you know maybe down the line perhaps but certainly not this quickly so I hope she realizes the I always want to say the gift that your gift of rain is injury time put upon her and that she realizes okay this is oh much tougher fight I have to come in with a game plan to beat izawa and I hope she realizes that so that's why I'm looking for this fight because I'm hoping that we see uh we see that type of Anastasia versus
