A Body Mechanics Test
We suggest you a body mechanics test.
 
Stand with your feet together, evenly distribute your body weight(1), then shift your body weight to the left foot and rotate your right foot to the right 90°(2), now shift your body weight to the right foot, then lift your left foot and your body will spontaneously rotate to the right 45°(3), then lower your left foot in front of you(4) and transfer your body weight to it(5). Do the same procedure for the other foot/side.
 
The above body mechanics test clearly shows that the most natural position of the back foot is a position at a 45° angle to the front foot. It may not seem important, but it is very important for the correct execution of the tai chi form.
 

 

The Tai Chi Step is practiced with a tray and a coffee cup almost filled with water on top of the head, because this automatically places the spine, neck and head in a vertical line, and slightly stimulates the Parietal chakra.
 
You should also practice the Tai Chi step backwards, in both cases the weight of the body should be on the Yong Chuan points of the full foot, the hands are joined at the buttocks.
 
If you don't have a tray with a cup, you can use an aluminum juice can with 4-5 centimeters of water.
