Arusha is located in northeastern Tanzania and is the capital of the Arusha region and is close to Serengeti national park, a UNESCO world heritage site, and Ngorongoro conservation area, yet another UNESCO world heritage site, located 180 km towards the west of Arusha. The town serves as a gateway to major parks of Northern circuit - Tarangire, Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater.
