Only used it for one hole through tile and cement board, so far. Worked great. I was pleasantly surprised it came with a guide (a hole in a piece of plastic or floor tile). I used a similar 3” one and without a guide it is more difficult. Had to keep it wet with a spray bottle and low rpm.

The trick is not to use a hammer mode in the drill for stucco. Just use normal drill mode, spray water at the bit. This will cut thought stucco just with little efforts. Looking at the wear and on the drill surface, I would say this is a very good and cost effective tool for home owner. For contractors, I think a backup should be bought at least

I purchased this saw to cut holes in a plaster and lath wall to run cable for a 13:1 speaker system. The cutting element of this hole saw is quite efficient at making a clean cut but: There is a hard plastic guide packaged as there is no pilot bit yet, again, as I see it, the corporation sees to outfit its engineering department by sheepskin, not with folks from the school of hands on common sense. The supplied guide is quite undersized in all dimensions.
