McGrath is bad

@IncognitoTorpedo Not true, McGrath is completely out of touch with everyday Kentuckians. She takes corporate money, she is bought out. Charles is only funded my ordinary people, no corporate money. Charles Booker know Kentuckian voters better, he lived in the poorest zip code in the state.

I agree any Democrat is better than Mitch but this isn’t a safe Democratic seat, it is a likely Republican seat. Having a Republican lite Democrat will not beat Mitch, Kentucky tried that with Alison Lundergan Grimes in 2014, she lost to Mitch by a landslide much larger than polls predicted. Pretending to be a Republican like Trump supporter will not convince any Republicans to vote for her, Trump can just say “I endorse Mitch McConnell” and boom, she is done for.

Mitch is one of the most unpopular politicians in the country but that doesn’t mean people will actually vote for a Democrat. Mitch is similar to Trump and by pretending to be a Trump supporter will not help. She will likely get Democrats, Independents, and non-voters to be alienated by her and may stay home due to lack of enthusiasm.

There more Independents and non-voters than Democrat and Republican voters. They are not necessarily moderates, they are mostly people who dislike both parties. Charles Booker is running a populist campaign, he has popular polices that are supported by a majority of Americans. We should be voting on who has the best policies, I am talking about candidates who are actually very relatable instead voting candidates based on the ‘electability argument’. People with the best policies are ‘electable’.
