"Summer is perfect for a glassware arrangement, and the point is that we want to express ourselves with the permeability and coolness of these vessels 插花課程 ."
"The most recent response has been 'food flower arrangements'. Food itself has beautiful colors and scents and can be used as a flower vessel, or as a material to arrange flowers. This class was a lot of fun, but also because you get to eat while arranging the dishes!"

Food Arrangement
Such a fun and responsive flower arranging class from a senior professor of Chinese floristry, she is Jin Hui.
Tea Flowers
A professor and daughter in the Chinese floral arts
Huijin's mother is Lu Rong, founder of the floral program at Southwest Jiaotong University. Lu Rong's love of flowers needs no introduction, and under her mobilization, Jin Hui studied with Mr. Cao Rui Yun of the Chinese Floral Art Classroom in Chengdu in 2003. in 2011, both mother and daughter were qualified to conduct the Chinese Floral Art Professorship, and were the first students to teach for students in mainland China.
"Chinese floral art is our Chinese flower arrangement and it contains a lot of things that we can understand. For example, in Chinese flower art, the composition of each flower shape has its own meaning and symbol. There are three main types of flowers in a pot of flowers, which can be divided into: the "Lord of the Flower League", the Flower Guest and the "Mission of the Flower". The Lord of the Flower League is the first main branch in a pot of flowers, symbolizing the King, the Leader, and the Father, so the flowers are chosen for their appearance, prominent color, fragrance, and style. In addition to the three main branches, there are many "branches" that are responsible for setting off the main flower, enriching the work and reflecting interest. Between them, they make the flower well ordered and smart." Jin Hui says that these remind her of people and people are the same, each one has a leader and a representative, does not fight, plays its own role and has its own space.
The Chinese see flowers as the "earth" or the "golden house" of "refinement", as a living landscape creation. The position of the flowering branch in the flower arrangement is called the foothold. By changing the choice of foothold, the work can be made either thick and heavy or clear and flexible.
A complete and perfect piece can be created by considering the changes in the relationship between the guest's point, inside and outside, virtual and real, height, weight, size, and virtual and real. This made her realize that a family, a company, and a school are all the same, and that only by finding her own niche can she truly bring her strengths into play and realize her value.
Two major breakthroughs in original living flower arrangement
After obtaining the qualification of professor of Chinese floristry, Huijin opened her own flower arrangement classroom while working as a flower arrangement columnist in Beijing.
She found that people around her, in addition to her friends who could delve into the systematic work of Chinese floristry for learning like herself, and more of our friends who learned flower arrangement, actually wanted to feel a beautiful social life with flowers. So, she began to explore the spiritual lifestyle flower arrangement. For example, "How can I arrange flowers without a sword or a mountain or a flower clay?" "Business trip to stay in a hotel, can you take anywhere with a for glass flower arrangement?"
Small flower vessels for big works
Therefore, Jin Hui taught Chinese floral art and also offered a course of life flower arrangement. The Ikebana for Life course is an innovative course based on the art of Chinese flowers.
"Usually learning flower arrangement starts with patterns, my life flower arrangement course is about bringing flower arrangement into life in the closest way possible. I made a breakthrough in two ways: First, I learned flower arrangement not from a specific type of flower arrangement, but from the cutting of flower arrangement materials, using flower arrangement materials, leaf materials, branches and flowers as thematic clues. For example, leaf material, leaves can be used as the main character to create space and create works, or as a supporting character instead of kensan and flower clay for fixing flower materials. Then, there will be many techniques to learn and there will be many possibilities to complete the flower. In class, I will give students a general idea, teach them some techniques, and then let them choose their own direction to make their designs. "It's a great idea," Jinhui said.
Another breakthrough is to let students choose their own flowers and vessels from the beginning.
"Flower arranging is a science, but there are very few courses that teach students how to do it. Many learn how to match flowers at a higher level before they try to figure it out on their own. It's a challenging thing to do, and new students often don't know how to get started. But I encourage them to make choices, step in and help them adjust." Kim Hue admits this method of teaching is also a challenge for her. Everyone has different ideas, and each piece of work must be guided one-on-one. It's much harder for students to imitate than to insert a demonstration piece themselves. However, she is always very happy when she sees the finished work full of spirit and energy.
Camellia
Fun teaching course to educate and train "floral thinking"
The launch of the Flower Arrangement for Life program has attracted many students with a love of life, including young mothers, retired aunts, busy office workers, bright college students, and even little girls in elementary school.
"The first class was 16 sessions, and now I'm designing for the middle class and trying more specialized themes, such as color themes and holiday flower themes." Jin Hui said.
Flower box
With summer here, Jinhui designs popular glassware flower arrangements. Clear glassware is found in many people's homes, she says, but it is difficult to arrange flowers in glassware, except for a few bouquets, because once you put in clay and crane fir, it is difficult to show the transparency of the work, which requires the use of materials such as leaves, branches, and not the fixed technique of flower milk kenzan.
Megumi also designed a class of food flower arrangement. A student said: "In the future, when I have guests at home, I will decorate it next to fruits. What a feeling! "This content is also suitable for parent-child flower arrangement. After learning, you can go home and create with your child.
Food Arrangement
There is also a course called "Little Flower Arrangement". Each student comes to the design studio, they will study and find that there are small pocket-sized flower vessels everywhere, sometimes a tea table with a tea flower, sometimes a washbasin with a small architectural piece, it turns out that we can make life so beautiful with a little flower. Jin Hui said that this lesson is to give them an important breakthrough: small flower vessels can also be decorated through a large space, which surprised them.
Small vessels for big works
Some classes require students to bring their own containers to put the flowers in. They can bring home their own "confusing" flower containers, or they can bring containers without flowers, such as cups, plates, or small bottles, and customize the flowers in class.
Fixing the branches
Many students who have taken the "Flower Arrangement for Life" course become interested in Chinese flower arranging and want to learn some "rules" when they are "free". The students who transfer to this course are usually better prepared to stick with it because they have the psychological preparation to learn it solidly.
Jinhui has a lovely five-year-old son, and she takes her children to learn math not by adding and subtracting, but by teaching "mathematical thinking". Jin Hui says: "My life flower class is such an enlightening education - first of all, it is based on interest, learning some skills, inserting some works, and having a kind of 'flower thinking' in the process, then according to your own preferences It makes sense to choose a different direction of floral learning." .
