Navratri has started and Durga Maa is here to bless us, while we are all ready to get into the festive spirit with the #pujofeels we thought of making a little watchlist of bengali movies. With the Durga Pooja Holidays the best companion would be movies until you get ready in the evening to go pandal hopping.

  1. Rajkanya

Rajkanya is a 1965 Bengali film directed by Sunil Bandyopadhyay.

The movie was based on a story and screenplay by legendary film director Ritwik Ghatak. Uttam Kumar, Rina Ghosh, Bhanu Bandopadhyay, and Tarun Kumar portray the main characters.

Darpa, a cunning man, asks Rajkumari to pretend to be Princess Chandralekha so that he can keep all her riches for himself. However, when she realises the truth, she ensures all his plans fail. The movie is entertaining with a gripping story and not to forget a classic!
