Holland missing from EPL's top 10 strikers...Tottenham captain Son Heung-min at No. 2

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has been named the second best attacker in the English Premier League (EPL) by British publication 90MIN. He was recognized for his role as both a striker and a winger.

According to the position-specific power rankings released by 90MIN on June 16, Son Heung-min moved up five spots from his last ranking to No. 2. The only striker ranked higher than Son is Muhammad Salah (Liverpool), who is in the race for the top goal scorer. That doesn't include his 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on the same day, so he could be back on top by the time the next list is released.

"Son has taken over as the team's leading goalscorer after the departure of Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) and has been in fine form so far," the publication said, adding, "He was phenomenal from the wing in the last home game against Newcastle, helping the team to a 4-1 win." 온라인카지노

With 10 goals to date, Son has accounted for nearly one-third of Tottenham's total points (35). He has scored twice as many goals as the team's second-leading scorer, Dejan Kulusevski, and is third in the EPL overall, behind only Holland (14) and Salah (11).

What makes Son's record even more impressive is that he has done so despite a mid-season switch to striker in the wake of Kane's absence and a lack of form from frontline option Heath Ledger. Since returning from injury, Son has taken on the role of a flanking playmaker, leading the team's attack. After he was substituted in the second half, he moved back up to striker and became a goal scorer, contributing to the team in a variety of ways.

Top scorer Holland is completely absent from the 10-man squad, having scored almost a goal a game in 15 league games this season, but he was silent against Aston Villa on June 6 and had to watch his team lose. His recent inconsistent form, coupled with a foot injury, has slowed him down. Holland has missed the last two games, including the one against Crystal Palace on Sunday, and the race for the EPL's top scorer is set to get even tighter.
