Increasing the weight on the bar as you would require to increase the mechanical tension to achieve the desired results.  Increase muscular stress by restricting the blood to leave the muscles that quick. Take pauses lesser than 60 seconds between each repetition. Keep the reps at a minimum of 15 per set. The muscles get inflamed during the session and you can feel the bulk.  Controlled movements will lead to muscle damage, which is required but it has to be a microtrauma, you may slow down the reps to achieve that. It's not "damage" as we understand it but a process to shape and rebuild the stronger muscles.
