The Romans and the Barbarians are two groups of people that lived in the same area that some believed to have co existed. They used arguments such as the barbarians using the Roman language as well as multiple other social and cultural practices. While the barbarians did adopt some of these practices, they did hold their own king and other forms of leadership. Due to this, the barbarians have proven to have a view of themselves that is separate from the Romans. The Barbarians were merely another people who shared the same land with the Romans. As the barbarians and the Romans clashed, the Roman empire continued to crumble all around them. The barbarians were not the first straw, nor the last in the fall of the Roman Empire, but they did play a major part.
