The lone third-place record is 19 consecutive losses recorded by KGC Ginseng Corporation, the predecessor of Chung Kwan-kwan, from December 5, 2018 to March 2, 2019.
The joint No. 1 record is 20 consecutive losses. Pepper Savings Bank experienced 20 consecutive losses in two seasons from Feb. 24 to Dec. 28, 2022. KGC Ginseng Corporation also lost 20 consecutive games from Nov. 18, 2012 to Feb. 13, 2013.
The record for consecutive men's losses is longer. Koepco 45, the predecessor of KEPCO, lost 27 consecutive games from March 25, 2008 to February 17, 2009, the longest in men's and women's divisions.
Attention is also focusing on whether Pepper Savings Bank will escape its losing streak. It is set to hold two consecutive away games. It will face Chung Kwan-jang in Daejeon on May 11 and Korea Expressway Corporation in Gimcheon on May 16. He will then return to Gwangju, his home court, on May 19 to meet Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
