How To Root and Install the Custom ROM on Android Device

 

Before going in detail, first we will see what is custom ROM?

What Is Custom ROM?

 

The android ROM means that it is the executable instructions of Android OS and apps. There are two kinds of ROM Stock ROM Vs Custom ROM. Stock ROM is installed in phone already by the manufacturer while the custom ROM is the one that is developed by the developer.

Here you will come to know about how to root your android device and install the custom ROM. Mostly this method works with many of the devices, before start the process you must do a couple steps to make a perfect process.

 

Step 1- Dial the following number by using the dialer “*#*#2846579#*#*”. This will directly take you to the “projectmenu” application which has been provided by the manufacturer. This screen helps you to identify the hardware as well as the internal access statistics.

 

Step 2:- Navigate to “Background Settings” go to “Log Settings.” Click the “Log Switch” then enable log and start rebooting your phone.

 

Step 3:- Go to “Settings” move to “Development” and turn enable for USB Debugging.

 

With the above method you able to access the SuperOneClick to gain root access. Once got the access then, download & extract that file into your computer. Plug your phone into the computer, then click “SuperOneClick.exe”  and “Root” button at the right-hand top corner. Once the process has complete. Your phone has been rooted. Install The Custom ROM

 

Step 1:- Goto Settings → Application→ Disable the “Fast Boot.”

Step 2:- You should download the version of clockwork recovery for android device, find and choose the perfect one for your device.

Step 3:- Copy “recovery.img”file which is got from the downloading ClockworkMod into your phone memory or SD card.

Step 4:- Install both the ES File Explorer and Remount (Download if not available)

Step 5:- Open the “ES File Explorer” and copy “recovery.img” file from where you have been transferred previously. Press “Agree”  if the system asks you to replace the existing one.

Step 6:- Turn off and on back by holding the power button to restart your phone. You successfully installed the custom rom.
