A senior or specialised worker visa—what is it?
Senior or Specialist Worker visa holders are allowed to go to the UK and stay there as long as they are employed by their employer's UK branch.

Requirements for senior or specialised worker visa
In order to submit a full application, the holder of a Senior or Specialist Worker Visa must additionally fulfil the following requirements:
Be a present worker for a company that has been granted sponsorship by the Home Office.

Who cannot make a switch request?
You cannot change your visa to a Senior or Specialist Worker visa if you are currently in the UK.
on a temporary student visa or a visitor's visa.
on a seasonal working visa on a student visa for parents of children
bail for immigration on a visa for a domestic assistant in a private residence
You are exempt from following immigration regulations because you were given permission to do so, sometimes out of compassion.
You must leave the UK and apply for an overseas Senior or Specialist Worker visa if you come under one of these categories.
What time will you be here for?
When requesting a senior or specialised worker visa, keep in mind that the maximum stay allowed is determined by the senior or expert worker income requirement.
If you obtain an annual income of at least £73,900 for nine years but less than £73,900 for five years (in any six-year period) (in any 10-year period)
Family members on a senior or specialised worker visa in the UK
Your spouse and children may travel with you to the UK as "dependents" if they meet the requirements. If they are accepted and given a visa, it will expire on the same day as the Senior or Specialist Worker visa holder.
You will need the following amounts: $315 for a child, $285 for a partner, and $200 for each additional child.
Once an employment offer has been accepted, the candidate must consider how they will meet the qualifying requirements for maintenance (available funds) in their application.
The applicant must demonstrate they have the means to support themselves, any partners who may be dependent on them, and any children on their own without the use of government assistance.
Alternately, the employer might vouch for the maintenance of the migrant and their family.
Changing from the Tier 2 route to the skilled worker route (ICT)
You are eligible to transfer to a skilled worker category if you meet the requirements and are currently in the UK under an ICT or another relevant category.
Your child or partner must submit their own application for the switch. They can apply with you or at any other time before their visa expires.
To be qualified for the skilled worker route, you must meet the prerequisites.
It is necessary to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
The Global Business Mobility Visa
The new Global Business Mobility category has 5 possible routes. There are numerous global business mobility routes, including Senior or Specialist Worker, Graduate Trainee, UK Expansion Worker, Service Supplier, and Secondment Worker.
You can switch to one of the two new Global Business Mobility routes as long as the category is suitable and you meet the conditions.
